138 Time To Move Out: Part 17 (1/2)
Thursday, 30th of April 2021. Garret High School. 11-A. 0930 Hours.
The explosives were semtex and it was very dangerous, but Clara handled it as if she was playing with a container of Play-Doh. It wasn't wrong that C4 and Play-Doh were kinda similar in texture, but the latter wouldn't kill you if you manage to fuck things up.
”How the heck does this kind of container goes unnoticed?” Clara asked herself as she fiddled with the wires that were hidden between the C4 and the lid of the box itself.
”No idea, but from the looks of it, someone must have fooled the students to assure them that this was some sort of Play-Doh. Well, texture-wise, it's the same,” Patrick gave his hypothesis.
”Yeah, but since when someone will buy twenty kilograms of Play-Doh?” Shaddam commented as Clara was cutting some wires.
”Truly amateurs. I'll be their advisor next time,” Clara pulled a circuit board from that container. It was the mechanism that was used to detonate the bomb itself. Clara put the detonator on her pocket
Clara left the room, leaving those twenty kilograms of explosives behind. Lynn was leaning her back at the door of the 11-A classroom. ”Finished yet?” Lynn asked.
”Yup, I've done it. Why do you come back?” Clara asked.
”Because this is my patrol zone. Well, good luck finding other bombs. According to X-ray and Kilo's calculation. There are two bombs remaining,” Clara said.
”We need someone, bring Tango's doggo,” Shaddam said.
Patrick: ”Tango, this is delta, requesting K-9 unit.”
Tango: ”I'm on my way.”
It didn't take too long until Aline showed up with her dog. The dog would be used to find any explosive materials. Aline handled her dog like a pro.
”Go!” Aline told her dog to start searching for the bomb.
The dog brought them to a room, the teacher room. It was another suicide vest, but without the iron cage and the teacher was sedated. He was sleeping, most likely to be drugged by anyone who was responsible for this.
”Well, this one is smarter,” Clara approached the teacher that had a suicide vest on his body.
”What do you mean?” Patrick asked.
”This one uses a pull detonator. If this bloody fucker pulled the cable, the bomb will blow,” Clara took a wire cutter from the toolbox and started cutting the wires on that suicide vest.
”Soka,” Aline said as she held her dog with her hands.
”It's quite easy to disarm though. This bomb depends on how the victim reacts. If he's too panicked, he can accidentally pull the wires and boom,” Clara put the wire cutter on the toolbox and took off the suicide vest from that teacher body.
Nathan: ”There's a VBIED on the parking lot of the school. We received a strong signal coming from a direction. If not for the signal jammer, that bomb will explode. Come here asap.”
Clara: ”I'll be there. Just wait.”
