127 Time To Move Out: Part 6 (1/2)
Wednesday, 22th of April 2021. 2100 Hours. Forward Operational Base Armory.
Nathan took all of the contractors to the room where they put the stole weapons from the container truck back in the day. As expected, there were a lot of weapon containers there.
”These are the containers from last year, aren't they? They must have sit here for a very long time,” Lynn said as she looked around that container.
Those containers contained weaponry, but most of them were special forces grade weaponry. To be short, you won't find a cheap rifle inside of it. It was just the best that the country has to offer.
”I have said earlier that we're going to standardize our equipment. So please, grabbed your old rifle and switched to the new one,” Nathan said as he opened the weapon crates one by one.
The first crate contained five assault rifles and so did the other three containers. There were twenty assault rifles in total. All of them were H\u0026K 416A7.
The contractors immediately put away their rifle and grabbed the HK416s that were in the container in that armory. They removed all of the attachments in their old rifle and attached it to the HK416 so it became more modular for their uses.
”Not bad,” Clara said as she attached her old holographic sight at the HK416.
”It's easy for you to say that. I'm not used to using AR-style rifle,” Clara said as she put her foregrip and scope at the HK416.
She also put the suppressor on that gun. She wasn't familiar with the AR platform, but she wasn't the only one who had the problem. Nevertheless, the contractors would get used to that gun quickly.
”Ok, I see you have the rifle on your shoulder. It's great, but we also standardized our LMG. For that reason alone, I choose this MG, maybe this is not a light machine gun, but it's light enough,” Nathan said as he opened a crate that had an MG. It was PKP Pecheneg which Patrick was used to using it.
”Oh yeah, my weapon,” Patrick said as he looked at the MG.
”Well, if you call PK machine gun as an LMG, I wonder what you have in mind for the GPMG,” Vincent asked as he looked at the crates of machine guns.
”Well, this thing will be our GPMG. Meet MG 338, made by Sig Sauer, chambered in .338 Norma Magnum. With a power twice of a 7.62x54 rifle cartridge,” Nathan said as he lifted the heavy MG.
”Well, I see. We have a full-auto sniper rifle in our arsenal. Good. Now I bet my arse that the standard bolt-action rifle will be the intervention,” Laura said.
”Correct,” Nathan opened another weapon crate. It contained the Cheytac intervention sniper rifle.
”Well, how nice,” Laura said as she grabbed one of the rifles.
”By the way, what do you have in mind for our concealed weaponry?” Eva asked Nathan.
”Hmph, I thought it will be a five-seven, but well, Glock will do,” Henry said.
”Well, for that purpose, there's another crate,” Nathan said as he walked to another weapon crate. It was full of PDW.
”MP7, chambered in 4.6x30mm ammunition. Small enough to be called a machine pistol, but pack a punch to penetrate soft body armor. Full auto and controllable recoil. This is another P90,” Nathan said as he opened that crate.
”So you want us to bring a PDW and a pistol everywhere?” Aveline asked.
”Yes, unless you want an SMG, but this is the best option we have for PDW besides the P90, but we don't have P90 except for a personalized one,” Nathan said as he closed the crate and moved to another crate.
