115 McGrath and Dynn: Part 15 (1/2)

Saturday, 6th of December 2020. City Planning and Administration Building. 2200 hours. Task Force Omega.

Patrick, Clara, Sierra, and Charlie were in a black SUV that was parked in front of the city administration building. They were planning to steal a blueprint of a certain building on the outskirts of the capital.

”Ok, Charlie, as usual, I'll rely on you on the situational awareness of the area,” Patrick said as he looked at the building.

”Yeah, I'll rely on my M200,” Charlie said as she got out of the car.

”Sierra, you go with Serval,” Patrick said and Clara and Sierra got out of the car.

The plan was simple, Clara and Serval would infiltrate the building while Charlie would be on the lookout. Meanwhile, Patrick would create a major distraction for the police in case they were spotted. Besides, he needed extra cash that worthed a lot of money.

Patrick: ”When you hear a gunshot. It meant that the plan is commenced.”

Charlie: ”Copy that.”

Clara: ”Are you going to do an airstrike again?”

Patrick: ”Not really, I'll just rob a jewelry store and catch the attention of the police force. It should serve as a good distraction.”

Patrick got out of the parking lot and he drove to a jewelry store that was located far enough from the CPAB office, but close enough that it would invite the same police force from that region.

He looked at the jewelry store by parking right in front of the jewelry store itself. He scouted and noticed that the jewelry store was empty and locked.

Patrick wasn't using his usual combat loadout, he wore something that a usual robber would wear. A loose jacket, a balaclava, and a duffle bag on his back. He got out of the car with an AK-47 on his hand. He walked to that jewelry store and immediately kicked the front door of that store.

With a rifle on his hand, he started smashing the glass display on that store with the stock of his AK and the alarm started ringing. The alarm would immediately call the armed response team of that town.

Patrick smashed the glass and grabbed the jewelry that was located on the display panel on that jewelry store. He put it in his duffle bag. According to his rough calculation, all of the jewelry in the display could worth up to 100,000$, but that wasn't his main objective. His main objective was to attract the attention of the SWAT team.

It didn't take more than five minutes until the police started arriving on the scene. However, Patrick had also finished snatching the jewelry from that store.

”Lay down your arms and surrender immediately! We have you surrounded,” one of the negotiators said, but Patrick immediately fired his AK at the direction of the police officer and killed one of them.

The grenade exploded right below their legs and Patrick ran away from the injured SWAT team. Patrick ran and he got confirmation from the Task Force Omega.

Clara: ”We have entered the blueprint building. It's going to take a while before we found the said building blueprint.”

Patrick: ”Copy that. Relax, I can hold them off.”

Patrick picked up one of the shields that the SWAT team used and used it as a cover while firing his AK with one hand. The police rained him down with bullets as he ran and ran from the jewelry store.

Charlie: ”Watch out!”

Two bodies fell off a nearby building, it was a sniper unit that the SWAT team deployed to take Patrick down. Patrick observed the nearby alleyway and noticed that the SWAT has blocked the alleyway with an armored vehicle.

Patrick immediately went for nearby stairs that went to the top of the nearby building. He climbed the stairs and arrived at the top of the building. In there, he immediately noticed that there was a sniper there.

”Hi brother,” Patrick shot his AK at that swat sniper and picked up his a flash any from his body as he ran away by doing some parkour on top of that building.

Sierra: ”We find a digital blueprint of that building. Downloading it now!”

Patrick: ”Be quick about it will ya?”

Patrick jumped from one building to the other while being shot at from below by the SWAT team. He shot a grenade to the ground below him and it exploded on top of the SWAT armored vehicle.

Two or three bullets landed on Patrick's body, but since it was 5.56 bullets, he didn't feel any single thing from those bullets except for minor pain from injuries. Patrick looked backward and noticed that there were few SWAT officers jumping around the building to catch him down.

”Holy moly,” Patrick said as he jumped to another building while a bullet landed on his back. He continued running until he lost the cop that now followed him with a helicopter.

Patrick: ”Brother. Have you finished retrieving the data yet?”

Sierra: ”Almost there. 90%.”
