113 McGrath and Dynn: Part 13 (2/2)

Patrick just smirked, he knew that Ryan had an interest in Stacy, he just never tells anyone. It was the best thing for that day, at least for Ryan.

”Thanks, but I don't like chocolate,” Stacy said. All of the boys in the class just laughed, ”Feels bad man,” Fernando said.

Patrick went outside of the class again and Aline followed him from behind. Patrick leaned his back at the wall of the balcony. Patrick looked at her, ”What do you want?”

Aline put her hands on the railing, ”Nothing in particular, but I will have something to be talked if you follow me.”

”Fair enough,” Aline moved away from the classroom and Patrick followed her from behind. They moved to an empty room near the administration office. It was a club room for the red cross. Since the club was disbanded, Aline was the only one who had access to that room.

Both of them entered that room and Aline locked the door again. She closed the curtain and they talked about something.

”Yes?”

They moved further from the door to avoid any unwanted eavesdropping. After that, Aline started spilling the beans.

”How long?”

”What?” Patrick asked.

”How long will you let your girlfriend in that school?” Aline asked.

”I don't know, it's her decision,” Patrick said.

”Sigh, I know. You better be ready then,” Aline said.

”What?” Patrick asked.

”We'll be moving out of this country. It has been planned by Echo, almost everyone agrees except for your girlfriend and her friend,” Aline said.

”How so?”

”She said something about an old friend, but I don't know. Trinity is a WMD,” Aline said.

”How so?”

”There's a lot of gas tank scattered around the town for no reason whatsoever. From the looks of it, they have something to do with that program,” Aline said.

”I see. What did Echo say about our next course of action?” Patrick asked.

”This,” Aline opened the coat of her jacket. Patrick noticed that she concealed a P90 and a plate carrier below her school coat.

”Authorization of concealing automatic weaponry?” Patrick asked.

”Yeah, and you should do too. You don't know when will the vest become useful,” Aline said.

”We have resistance to bullets right?” Patrick said.

”Yeah, but the plate could adsorb some of the energy and downgrade the penetration of the bullets,” Aline said and Patrick understood that. Patrick opened his phone and put on his plate carrier and carry an MP5 behind his school jacket.

”You know when Lynn went offshore. She hit a jackpot, she got a VLFS from the American government,” Aline said.

”VLFS? What's that?” Patrick asked as he buttoned his coat.

”Very Large Floating Structure. You know it more as mother base,” Aline said.

”Ok, where is it?”

”Somewhere in the Atlantic ocean. Don't worry, we'll need a lot of budget before able to move there,” Aline said as she left the room.

”Yeah. I know.”
