66 Old Friend: Part 9 (1/2)

'That's one business taken care of,' Lizeth drove away from Iris's house. Her parents were very good to her. It was different than what she thought they would be when they saw someone with a balaclava came knocking on their front door.

That might be the confidence of a police commissioner. Lizeth also told Iris's parents, especially her father that Iris was involved in illegal arms trading. Her father was furious at her, it was expected. Iris must be under surveillance so she didn't try something stupid again.

The car radio turned on automatically and the news report started pouring from the radio. The news was unpleasant.

”Civil emergency has been declared in the town of *****. Gunfire was exchanged between the protesters and the military. Situation remains unstable...”

'If Amar has a plan to destroy this country, he has a good plan,' Lizeth commented as she was one of the people that known what was going on.

Conspiracy theorists had made a new theory about the new world order and many other insanities, but Lizeth knew that the insanities that they made weren't insane enough compared to the real fact.

She knew that a long time military lockdown would cause chaos considering that the military was on paranoid mode at that time. She also heard that ten civilians had been killed by the soldiers and the Russians. Still, all of the blame was put on the soldiers.

'I wish all of this end swiftly, but I know that I have dived too deep to the pool of blood,' Lizeth thought as she remembered that she became a contractor like four months ago.

[01:10]

There wasn't any teacher on the dormitory, so there wouldn't be anyone that suspects why Lizeth came so late to the dorm. Hell, even Lizeth knew that some of her friends came back to the dorm at 4 a.m on their school uniforms. Only God knew what they did. Fucking.

[Oncoming call: Marinka]

She answered the phone call as she drove through the quiet capital.

Marinka: ”Afternoon, Lynx.”

Lizeth: ”It's morning here, but Afternoon Marinka.”

Marinka: ”I see. You know the reason call you right?”

Lizeth: ”I suppose.”

Marinka: ”Good. Amar has spoken. He said that he would blow up a bomb in the town square on Sunday.”

Lizeth: ”I see. Why do you need my help?”

Marinka: ”Your help is cheaper than risking a team of Spetsnaz.”

Lizeth: ”I see. Well, how may I help you with now? I still have two hours.”

Marinka: ”I will give you the mission. Good luck.”

Marinka ended the phone call as a new mission appeared on her Armory System. The payment was ridiculously high and so did the risk. Still, money was money and it needed to be earned. The contract was very dangerous just from the sound of it.

[Blowing Up The Bomb]

Our Intel suggested that Amar's terrorist group is stashing a car bomb on the outskirts of the capital to disguise it. Your job is to blow up that bomb in that place with all of the terrorists. The place was guarded with guards using automatics. Be quick about it. If you die, I will remember you as my hero.

Much love :)

-Marinka

Reward:

[Rep+++]

[FSB Rep ++++++++++++++++]

[2,000,000$]

'Is that post scriptum really necessary?' Lizeth asked herself as she accepted the contract. The payment was very big. She didn't know why. She prepared all of the things that she might need. She opened the gun shop and observed the ammo choice that she had.
