29 The Russians Gambit: Part 5 (1/2)

”Play Fortunate Son bravo,” Lima pressed the minigun button and the barrel started spinning.

Bravo: ”Copy that.”

That drum of freedom could be heard from the speaker of the helicopter. The barrel started to spit out Raufoss Mk 211 bullets at the house as the Fortunate Son started playing in the background.

The Russians went down the moment the .50 caliber hit their bodies. The bullet exploded into multiple fragmentations once it penetrated a wall. It destroyed the balcony.

The helicopter aimed its 30mm cannons on the pylons and it blew the roof clean off and revealing some dead Russians on the second floor. They blasted the Russians with the M230 chaingun bullets. ”Murica fuck yeah!” Charlie shouted as she continued shooting the Gau-19 minigun.

The Russians came out and brought a MANPADS. Hotel noticed it and shot them with AGM-114 Hellfire missiles. It exploded their bodies and made another secondary explosion from the MANPADS itself. The courtyard had been cleared. They circled around the house to kill any Russian that was roaming around that building. Bunch of Russians came out from the door, but they got stopped by a barrage of 30mm autocannon.

”Courtyard is cleared,” Lima shouted to her radio. Every car had been exploded and every single door and windows had been blasted with 30mm cannons.

Bravo: ”Copy that Lima. Continuing attack.”

The helicopter was more focused on shooting the house. The heli fired the house with a barrage of 30mm high explosive ammunition and AGM-114 hellfire missiles. It destroyed the house into pieces of smoking rubble. ”Need ground unit to investigate. Charlie, Lima, it's your turn now,” Hotel said as Lima unmanned the minigun and she headed for the helicopter door to rappel down.

She went down to the ground to investigate the messy rubble of the house. In the yard, she could see some pieces of guts and a Russian flag. Still, she hadn't found a body that was intact enough to be investigated by her.

They walked to the destroyed car to investigate the content of the trunks. Sadly though, the car was too wrecked to be opened. Lima carried a crowbar on her back and forcefully opened the trunk of the car. She found many destroyed equipment in that trunk. One of them was a Russian passport that was almost burned. ”Alexei Yugorov?” She read that passport, but she doubts that it was a real passport.

Charlie walked to the house rubble and shot her Negev at one of the bodies of the Spetsnaz. She grabbed his dog tag and found out that he was from Russian, but nothing else came out from that. Lima opened another car trunk and noticed an abundant amount of unopened ammunition. It was six cans full of 7.62x39mm ammunition. She acknowledged it as evidence of Russian involvement.

”Found something yet?” Charlie dug through the rubble. She searched for bodies between those rubbles. She only found body fragments there. After that, she kicked the head of a Russian soldier.

Lima nodded at her while grabbing a hand of a Russian soldier. She noticed that they were holding an As Val or AN-94 most of the time. It was quite unpleasant considering that the weapon that they held was a special forces weaponry, ”Not yet, they're Spetsnaz, that is as far as I can tell you.”

Hotel: ”You got business at six o'clock.”

The Blackhawk launched a missile and a large explosion could be heard from afar. It must be the hellfire missile that was fired from the UH-60. They had to leave the area as quickly as possible or they would face more angry Spetsnaz. Charlie searched the rubble more aggressively by digging it using her hands.
