Chapter 29 - 29 (2/2)
I did not know if I was about to make this man mad at me. I bit my lip hard trying to figure out whom to obey. Jordan had told me to go to the bar, but this man was insisting on giving me a tour. So deep in thought, I almost jumped out of my skin when he threw his head back and laughed.
”Good girl. The first rule: always obey your Master above all others,” he said putting his arm around me.
He began to steer me towards the far side of the room. I searched for this elusive bar that I had seen when I first came in. However, once the crowd had overwhelmed me, I had lost track of everything but the body. As soon as that thought had crossed my mind the masses parted, I saw the man was taking me right to it. I let out a huge sigh of relief and began searching for any sign of Lizzie or Jordan.
”Did you want a drink, little one, while I alert your Master that you are here?” he asked setting me on a stool.
”Yes please, Sir, a beer if I may. And Master Jordan's not mine, he's my friend Lizzie's Master,” I clarified. ”You don't have to let him know I'm here, he said he'd send someone to the bar.”
”And he did, he sent me. He told me just to look for a girl who looked lost and I'd know it was you,” The man said.
He held up his hand to attract the bartender who nodded and brought two beers down.
”Mia, right?”
I nodded.
”Good, then I found the lost girl. So, if Master Jordan is not yours, who do you belong to?” he asked sitting next to me.
”I belong to Master Reed,” I explained softly.
The man's mouth dropped for a moment before the man's head flew back as he barked out more laughter.
