Chapter 14 - 14 (1/2)

The day flew by after that and before long it was time to go home. I put the last of the work aside proud of the fact that it would only take me a few minutes to finish it off the next morning. Then got up to go let Reed know I was done for the day and heading out.

”Was there any other work you needed from me, Sir?” I asked as I walked into his office.

It'd become a habit of mine to make sure everything was alright before I left every day. However, today he barely looked up when I came in and I felt a moment of disappointment when I realized he was extremely busy. I was kind of hoping for a kiss or maybe more before I headed out for the day. I squared my shoulders and told myself that it was okay because there was always another day, especially if I went home and actually finished the contract.

”No,” he muttered, his eyes barely leaving the paperwork he was working on.

”Thank you, Sir. I'll see you in the morning,” I said and turned to leave.

”Mia,” his voice held a warning note from behind me.

”Yes, Sir?” I inquired turning back around slowly wondering what I had done wrong.

”Are you planning on saying goodbye to me properly?” he asked raising his eyebrow.

I saw him push his chair back and turn to face me. Happily, I almost ran in my anxiousness to get to him, and as I came around the desk his lips turned up in a half-smile as he noted my excitement. When I stopped in front of him, he tilted his face up to me indicating he wanted me to kiss him. I slowly leaned down and pressed my lips gently against his. It was just a hesitant kiss since I was unsure about what exactly he was expecting.

He stayed still not doing anything, allowing me to take the lead and I found myself very confused, after everything we had discussed I couldn't figure out why he was giving me the control. The kiss was pleasant, and yet I felt as if something was missing. I could not figure out what it was, and it had frustrated me enough that I pulled away.

”What's wrong?” I asked.

”What? Did you not enjoy the kiss?” he asked innocently.

I almost screamed in frustration. What did he want me to say? It had been nice but there was no rush of emotion, no... I didn't know what it was. I just knew that something was missing.

”Of course, I did. I just... it's just...” I stuttered as I wavered between words trying to find the least insulting one.

He laughed. ”I know what you mean, pet. It was wonderful, but you needed more. I wanted to make sure you knew it as well.”

I felt a bit of anger and frustration that he would do that to me just to prove to me something I already knew.

”It was pleasant for me as well. You are an incredibly good kisser. But we both need more, little one.”

My anger melted away as I realized he was in the same boat I was. Up until now, sex had been tossing between terrible and almost pleasant for me. It was the submission that Reed was demanding that was exactly what I needed.

”Are you ready for your first round with me?” he asked pulling me between his legs.

I felt a rush of heat and excitement run through me making my body start to tremble and I nodded looking down at him waiting for his command.

”Get on your knees,” he ordered quietly.

This was a man who knew exactly what and how to say something to make a woman listen and want to obey, that was the mark of a true Master. He knew what he was and what I was, and he asked for nothing less than complete obedience, total surrender, I was more than willing and ready to give it to him.
