The gnomes and dwarves who had been waiting for a long time at the construction site would start building houses on the foundation that was already prepared.

Everything was so orderly.

However, Joshua forgot one thing, which was that the village did not have any grain reserves at all.

Therefore, the laborers on the construction site quickly became hungry due to the lack of food.

When Mortimer realized this, he immediately went to the place where Joshua was resting.

“Young master, wake up!”

When he opened his eyes and found Mortimer beside him, Joshua immediately sat up.

He wiped the saliva from the corner of his mouth with his hand and asked, “What happened?”

The butler immediately told him about the lack of food at the construction site. When he heard what the other had to say, Joshua immediately stood up.

After concocting his plan, Joshua immediately went to the Alger couple’s worksite.

Looking at Alger who was drawing his blueprint, Joshua immediately asked, “Alger, do you have time now? I have something I want to ask for your help with!”

Alger looked up at Joshua and immediately stopped what he was doing.

“I’m preparing some blueprints now, all of which will be used in the future. As such, I’m not in a hurry now. Let me know what it is that you need.”

“The thing right now is that there’s a shortage of food in the camp. Therefore, I’m thinking of letting you make some things to exchange for food from the surrounding demi-humans in the area!”

After saying that, he took a piece of paper from the table and started to draw with a pen.

Looking at the things that Joshua had drawn, Alger jumped up in excitement.

“Oh my God! I didn’t expect the village chief to be an inventor. How did you come up with such things?”

In fact, they were just some simple crafts. If he had the right tools, Joshua could even build a car.

However, he didn’t have a lot of resources so he could only make some tools for daily use.

Looking at the unicycle, the stretcher, and all the other things that Joshua had drawn… Alger immediately got busy with the blueprints of these simple crafts.

After completing his task there, Joshua went to maid Lena’s side and told her the formula for some plants. Then, he sent some female elves and the Great Ghost clan to search for materials in the jungle.

It was a method to make skincare, perfume, and natural facial masks. Joshua planned to use these things to earn more food.

Whether they were humans or demi-humans, all women were born to love beauty.

For these things that could make them beautiful, it was enough to make any male empty their pockets!
