40 Heading Back (1/2)

”Wait” Caleb realized something as he immediately went back to the storage room and noticed that the items inside have disappeared.

”Did he take them all? I didn't even see it!” Caleb said in as waves of shocked surged inside him as he really didn't saw how Leo took all of the firearms from here as he remembers that Alex and Leo are not holding anything except for their rifles.

Caleb then tried to immediately catch up to them as various thoughts ran through his mind, he was confused, amazed mixed with a little fear of the unknown.

'How the heck did they do that?' Caleb's last thought before finally reaching the surface and saw Leo looking at him, who said to him ”You're so slow, old man. Come on! I'll show you something nice” Leo said as he gave mysterious smile.

The three of them then headed to the back gate of the palace and exited there.

Leo then waved his hand as the Warthog appeared in front of them.

”What!? What! What! What the freak was that!?” Caleb eyes widened in as both of his hands held both sides of his head in utter shock with his mouth forming an 'O' shape.

”Hop in! We've got work to do!” Leo yelled at him from the driver seat with Alex already mounting the turret gun.

Caleb walked over as he sat on the passenger seat looking like he's didn't come back to the real world.

Leo just smiled at his reaction, he doesn't really bother hiding his abilities because it would just be useless as Caleb would just discover it when stays with him long enough.

The group then drove bank to banks from supermarkets to grocery store, to hospitals to pharmacy's as they looted every cash, medicines, food supplies and clothing including building supplies and barrels of fuels, this is where Leo felt really thankful to the system as his Inventory has ten thousand slots which can stack the same item till three hundred in a single slot.

For the first time in his life, Caleb just experienced the biggest shock in his life, his reaction is even far more absurd than when humans started to become zombies.

But as every time Leo makes everything seem to vanished from thin air, Caleb started to become numb witnessing it every time as he just tried to stopped thinking about it, knowing that he wouldn't get an appropriate answer whatsoever.

”A person that has the ability to make things disappear then make it reappear and then there's this guy who has this monstrous strength, not even bothered by the zombies as he would just punched them using his bare fist” Caleb instead smiled rather than being afraid of them as he started looking forward what awaits him back at the camp filled with expectations that there are others like Leo and Alex back there as his fighting spirit burned with ferocity, wanting to have a bout with experts when he fully recovers to his peak health.

Sadly for him, he would be truly disappointed when he arrives there, as Leo and Alex are the only people whose abilities that does not follow the common sense.

After their looting of countless supplies they immediately headed back towards the direction of Manchester. This time didn't Leo bother rescuing people as he was in a hurry to go back. Of course, he wouldn't mind helping someone if they stumble to each other if they needed his help.

This time, he plans to spend more time at the camp while upgrading it and spend some quality time with both his women.

Just halfway through to Manchester, Leo slowed down the Warthog as a road block appeared in front of them with people armed with different melee weapons, there are even others holding bows among them and he saw at the map that there are at least ten more others hiding in the woods by the side of the road looking at them with hostility along with fear.

”Halt!” a burly man holding a massive machete shouted as he step forward for them to stop with his hand raised but then he suddenly froze as he noticed that there is actually a mounted machine gun on this unknown vehicle in front of him and the weapon was pointed directly at him which made blood run cold.

Caleb just stayed in the car as he really didn't have choice as his still feeling weak all over and only Leo stepped down from the vehicle holding his DMR as he looked at the person in front of him with a hideous smile as he's trying hard to suppress the urge to kill them immediately, especially that he's in a hurry to go back.
