”Hold your ground!” someone commanded from behind the defensive line of the human soldiers. This person was none other than Cui Yuanping, Head of the Military District. ”For humanity!”

”For humanity!” the soldiers roared in unison, their weapons at the ready as they braced themselves for the incoming clash.

The human soldiers stood firm, but the demon forces were similarly undaunted. They answered the call of their general, advancing without a tinge of fear.

Just like that, the two sides collided.

Blood spilt in all directions as weapons eventually found their way through the tiny openings in each other's defences.

But unlike the scene that had taken place in the other parts of Ivory Rock City, this time the battle was much more evenly matched between the two opposing sides.

The human soldiers here were the elites of Ivory Rock City, and would definitely not fall as easily.

”Go!” Hu Yuanbo pointed towards General Nanbai Zhaoyu who was hovering in the sky.

As though it understood Hu Yuanbo's words, the shining sword of energy that had been hovering above the soldiers instantly shot upwards, heading straight towards the flying General Nanbai Zhaoyu.

The speed of the shining sword was fast, incredibly fast!

In fact, it was so fast that General Nanbai Zhaoyu immediately gave up any thoughts of evading it.

The illusory figure of a flaming sword shimmered into existence behind Hu Yuanbo as he pointed up towards the sky.

Since it had received its order, the shining sword immediately shot back up into the sky, heading straight for its new target.
