First, he paraded himself in front of Zhang Che to claim credit for his work, then put down the dying exotic beasts and ran away with big steps.

That fellow’s mouth was huge. Every time he came back, he would bring at least two or three exotic beasts with him!

“Please spare me, Zhang Xiaoche. I’m so tired I really can’t swing my sword anymore…” Huang Tielan looked at the backlog of exotic beasts she had yet to kill, then shifted her gaze over to the ones the Steel-Armored Tyrannosaurus had just brought back. On the other side, the elemental queen was flying back to them, smiling, holding a mid-tier exotic beast in each of her hands.

She felt like she really couldn’t move anymore. As such, Huang Tielan directly put away her long sword and sat down on a rock protruding out from the ground at the side. The way she was hanging her head looked very comical. Those not in the know would think she hadn’t been able to hunt any exotic beasts!

If they were to find out that her hands had gone limp from slaughtering exotic beasts like pigs, who knew how jealous they would get?

Zhang Che was helpless about that, too. If they continued at this pace, they’d probably only need two days for Miss Tienan to advance to Tier Four. They’d scare others to death if they told others.

It couldn’t be helped, however. Killing exotic beasts non-stop, even though they didn’t have the ability to retaliate, wasn’t like slaughtering chickens, after all. Huang Tielan really couldn’t handle it, given her physique.

“We’ll take a short rest, then. Let’s get something to eat first. We’ll continue after you recover your strength.”

Huang Tielan immediately grew excited when she heard they were getting some food. She quickly stood up and chirped, “Hah, then I want to eat roasted meat! I want to eat meat roasted by the elemental queen!”

Obviously, the elemental queen had not only conquered Zhang Che and the frisky monkey, she had similarly conquered Huang Tielan.

Soon, everything was prepared. The elemental queen started working. A little less than an hour later, a large pile of saliva-inducing meat was roasted up. Huang Tielan was so tempted by it that she kept swallowing, wishing she could start eating right away.

“Oh, right, I almost forgot about the little guy.” Just as they were about to dig in, Zhang Che suddenly slapped his head and summoned out the frisky monkey with a wave of his hand. That fellow had stayed in his spiritual sea for a very long time now. Taking the opportunity that they had free time now, it was better to let him out for a breather.
