Several hundred students filled the seats of a tiered-seating conference room in the big building. They were the freshmen of Bei Du University’s beast card cultivation faculty.
Every one of them were seated quietly in their seats. None of them were whispering among themselves. They were all focused on the large screen behind the rostrum.
On the screen, Huang Tielan was shown carefully placing a beast card into the petri dish, then putting on the cover unhurriedly and using a vacuum machine to remove the air inside.
Up on the stage, an elder sitting casually there was watching Huang Tielan’s movements on the screen, nodding in satisfaction. Afterwards, he turned his head around and looked at the many students sitting below.
This elder had a dishevelled appearance. His hair and beard were greyish-white, but his face was a healthy pink, making it hard to tell how old he was.
