Chapter 233 - Infiltrating the Base in the Night (2/2)

As for the first law about not allowing the summoning of subdued beasts in the city? To hell with it! Zhang Che directly flew out the city. No one would bother to care about this. It wasn’t the city center here, anyway…

——

As they flew northeast, approaching the exact location of the base, Zhang Che didn’t directly barge his way in. Instead, he had the Purple Jade Condor stop at the nearby hill. After that, he took out that big bag of cooked food from the Tortoise and started wolfing it down.

Nothing was more important than filling his stomach!

After eating for close to an hour, Zhang Che finally let out a comforted sigh, then took out a barrel of water and gulped it down. He was fully satisfied now!

He recalled the Purple Crystal Tortoise, then had the Purple Jade Condor take to the skies and circle around, scouting the situation outside the base.

According to the information Chen Qikun sent Chen Lishan, the outside of the base was disguised as a large livestock cultivation ground and processing plant, rearing large amounts of animals, and usually had all kinds of people coming and going.

No one would ever suspect that under this gigantic processing plant was hidden a human experimentation base! Many people were locked up in there, living a hellish life.

As Zhang Che had no idea where the entrance to the base was, he didn’t dare to approach it carelessly. He only sat on the hill nearby, waiting to see if the Purple Jade Condor could discover anything.

Regrettably, it was now deep at night. Although there was still a little bit of light coming from the processing plant above the secret base, it was still very difficult for the Purple Jade Condor to find out what the situation there was like.

After waiting for over half an hour, Zhang Che almost couldn’t hold it in any longer and wanted to forcibly barge right in, when a car suddenly drove out of inner area of the processing plant silently, heading straight to the main road outside.

Zhang Che’s instincts told him that this car shouldn’t be simple, because the plant above ground had already shut down for the night. It couldn’t be someone from the external area.

In that case…

———–

A surreptitious butterfly suddenly flew out. When the car was about to pass by the hill Zhang Che was atop, it flew above the car without anyone noticing.

In the next moment, the car suddenly came to a stop.

Zhang Che stood up and ran down the hill. He pulled the door open and sat down in the back seat of the car.

“Go back.”

The car quickly turned back and followed the route it had taken earlier, returning to the processing plant. It drove directly down to the inner area where security was much tighter, stopping at a sealed factory entrance.

“Hey Robert, didn’t you say you have something going on at home? Why are you back here?” A security guard who obviously knew the driver walked up with a doubtful look on his face. He knocked on the car window, and realized that the guy was, for some unknown reason, laying on the steering wheel.

“Damn, what’s with this guy? Is he feeling sick?” The security guard was shocked, thinking that this driver felt sick on his way home and thus drove back here. He hurriedly pulled the door open and dragged him out of the car.

“Help me out! Damn it, this guy is so heavy!” the security guard cried out. Two more guards immediately walked up and worked together to bring Robert to the side. After a simple check on him, they discovered that this guy had fainted and it was impossible to wake him up.

“Quick, go down and call for a doctor. He might have fallen into a comatose state from overwork… Curse it!”

One of the security guards at the factory entrance immediately opened the gates and ran inside in a hurry.

None of them noticed a near-invisible, distorted silhouette came out of the car and follow the security guard into the factory closely…
