Although the doctor didn’t say anything about these exotic treasures during their last consultation, Zhang Che felt that this was perhaps a direction he could work in.
After all, humans had only entered the beast worlds for merely thirty-odd years, and most of it was mainly hunting the exotic beasts. There wasn’t much research done on the plants found on this side of the world.
Even those who specialized in researching all kinds of plants from the beast world were mostly beast card cultivators; their research was more towards using the plants as ingredients to raise the level and quality of beast cards.

As the Five-Colored Spiritual Flower was getting closer to full maturity, the beastmasters from the Tian Yin Squad grew increasingly nervous. Every one of them were holding onto their composite bows carefully, arrows nocked, staring at the increasingly impatient Purple Jade Condor in the sky.
In the short span of about a quarter of an hour, the Purple Jade Condor initiated several attacks on them, but was fended off by that strongest member of the Tian Yin Squad every time with his arrows. It kept crying out fiercely as it circled in the sky.
Zhang Che carefully moved closer as well, inching closer to the Tian Yin Squad. After scaling two rugged stone piles, he was finally barely able to see the Tian Yin Squad members in the central area.
As for the Five-Colored Spiritual Flower, Zhang Che was unable to locate it, probably due to his obstructed vision. He felt an itch in his heart, wanting to see for himself what a legendary natural treasure looked like.
Another few minutes passed. The Tian Yin Squad members ahead suddenly cheered. The Purple Jade Condor cried out at the same time, hurriedly swooping down without any care.
“Block it!” the leader of the group cried out. The pure black bow in his hand was drawn to a full moon shape, nocked with a similarly black arrow, aimed at the Purple Jade Condor.

The other beastmasters who couldn’t hold themselves in let loose the bowstrings between their fingers and quickly drew more arrows, shooting at the Purple Jade Condor continuously, catching it in a rain of arrows.
This time, the Purple Jade Condor no longer evaded, and allowed the arrows to land on its tough purple feathers. Its huge figure dove straight down at an open area in the middle of the stone forest.
That place was behind the backs of the Tian Yin Squad.
Without a doubt, the Five-Colored Spiritual Flower had matured!
“You guys must hang in there no matter what!” Zhang Che’s heart tightened, afraid that the beastmasters from Tian Yin Squad would be unable to fend off the Purple Jade Condor, allowing it to snatch the Five-Colored Spiritual Flower away. He had no way to steal something from the mouth of a flying exotic beast.
Seeing the Purple Jade Condor swooped down without any care, the sharp-chinned leader of the Tian Yin Squad let loose the bowstring he had drawn, shouting out with a cold gaze, “Get lost!”
Weng! The bow trembled violently. The black arrow shot out like lightning, reaching the Purple Jade Condor in an instant.
Even so, the Purple Jade Condor didn’t bother to evade at all as well, allowing the black arrow to pierce into its right chest. The two-foot long arrow was buried into its body almost entirely, and the purple feathers around the wound were pulled out along to the root by the sharp arrow head, floating down slowly.
