Li FuJin thought for a second as he remembers how Xiao XiRan was secretly protecting his sister by trying to get close to her while everyone misunderstood his actions.

Just like when Li FuJin kisses YuYan while his future brother-in-law was hiding in a tree at the university after he thought that Xiao XiRan was interested in her.

Xiao XiRan even warned him to stay away from her. Li FuJin now understand why his future brother-in-law helped him when he joined the trial.

”Your brother-in-law hated you more than any of them.” Mo Yao Wang said with indifferent voice. ”But he is willing to forget the past as long as it will make his sister happy.”

”He will do anything no matter what consequence is waiting for him.” Mo Yao Wang added. ”That stupid brat even stabbed his second brother.”

”That was because he thought it was Yun who was planning to separate the both of you.” Mo Yao Want said with a disdainful voice. ”He let his emotions control him.”

”He was too stupid to forget that if it wasn't for his second brother who helped him for kidnapping the witch queen, he won't end up having her as his wife.” Mo Yao Wang seethed in anger.

Li FuJin was surprised with Mo Yao Wang's revelation. The old man even openly told him about the sibling's scheme towards his contracted witch.

Besides, Li FuJin was not aware that Xiao XiRan abducted Marlene aside from hearing from his future brother-in-law about chaining his wife again.

”You're not aware of it?” Mo Yao Wang asked after seeing Li FuJin furrowing his brows. ”You heard my stupid grandson that he will chain her again, just like what he did in the past.”

”He imprisoned her on his room and forced to be his wife, but she runs away after finding out that she was pregnant because of fear about the prohibitions.” Mo Yao Wang added.
