15 The hunting party (1/2)
Qu started to run towards the deer, she then fueled her flames so that they spread all over her fingers. The flames on her fingers now able to deal damage. She then went into a full blown sprint, her hands and feet sinking deeply into the wet soil. The deer finally heard Qu running towards her, it looked towards Qu before running, and the moment it looked towards her, a massive wave of fear and danger spread through its body. Qu continued to run towards it, and the deer spun and started to run for its life. Qu continued to run after it, she also started to use her dream venom ability. The moment it was activated, the flames on her fingers turned a bright green, as they became enriched with a potent venom. As the venom continued to run through her body and connect with her flames, the skin tight aura she held started to go from the gentle red to a deep green, it now acting as a sort of clothing for her as the green glow started to turn a more solid colour.
With this power running over her body, she started to run harder and faster, and she slowly started to close in on the creature. She continued to advance, as she continued to push her body to go as fast as it can and for as long as it can. Then when she eventually came in range of the deer, Qu leapt into the air and pounced down onto the deer, the flames on her fingers dug into its flesh, and the rampant fire ran into the creatures body. The fire ran through the creatures veins and scorched the veins of the deer, and as this happened the poison in these flames slowly released out of it, allowing the poison to run through its system. The deer started to grow groggy as the venom run through its system and the creatures skin slowly began to give off a tantalising smell of cooked meat as the flames on her body began to cook it, due to her body being pressed up against the deer.
Then in almost an instant later the deer was dead. Qu then engulfed the creature, allowing her to gain its bloodline. She then chose to change into the creature so that the stabilisation period of the creature will be over and done with and won't have to do it later on.
When she chose to evolve the usual message of stabilisation period came up, but this time it said it was only 20 hours. Somehow she had ridden 4 hours off of the time. Then the screen of her status showed itself again:
