Chapter 568 - Do we have enough time? (1/2)

Ryn just smiled and waved her hand when Mika dropped her off at her house. They did not manage to have the discussion or in Mika's mind, to make Ryn agree to do her practical training at the company with Mika.

She shook her head in bemused. Mika must be sulking right now because of her failure to persuade Ryn to change her mind.

She entered her house and looked around. Although it looked so lonely standing here alone in such a bug house, she felt fulfilled. Her years of working hard paid off and she finally has a house to call her own. She locked the house and dropped the keys into the small bowl on the cabinet near to the door. Then, after she wore the house slippers, she headed straight into her bedroom. She was so full and now all she could think of was to have a couple of hours nap.

However, right before her body entered tge bedroom, she stopped and winced.

She forgot to pack her bag!

She quickly turn and went into the closet. She grabbed a backpack and started to pack a couple of basic clothes as well as backup heels. She also refilled her shower soap and a few necessities that she always carried whenever she travelled, regardless of whether it was in the country or outside. Of course, she also checked whether the clothes she brought suitable for the season of the location she was going to.

Once she was done packing, she let out a sigh and brought the bag to the living room, along with a cap and a sweater she always wore whenever she went travelling. She put them on the sofa and went back to the bedroom.

Now, she was ready for her nap and hopefully, nothing and no one interupted her from having her rest.

It was the ringing of the phone that woke her up from her nap. At first, she was going to ignore it but luckily her brain managed to work rather quickly, in just seconds, as she remembered what she was going to do tonight. She quickly reached for her ringing phone and sighed to see Mei Li's name. Has she arrived? Ryn wasn't ready yet to leave for the airport! She just woke up.

”Hello. Are you here?” Ryn asked. Her husky voice became the clear evidence that she just woke up.

”I'm almost there,” Mei Li replied. She was not shocked at all to know her model was sleeping. In fact, she expected Ryn to do just that. The Sleeping Beauty would not miss any chance of sleeping whenever she could.

”Okay. I will get ready,” Ryn was relieved. She said her goodbye and quickly grabbed a towel to go to the bathroom. A hot shower could wake her up and make her refreshed... well, just a bit. She had no doubt she would still be sleepy when she reached the airport.

She had a quick shower and in just fifteen minutes, she was already in her red Mickey shirt and jeans. She tied the sweater's long sleeves around her waist. Her hair was pulled into a low ponytail and a cap covered her head. She put her sunglasses in a box into the backpack and zipped it. She checked for the last time that everything way there, including her passport, let out a sigh and closed her eyes, sprawling on the sofa.

Man, she was still exhausted.
