Her already closed eyes widened in shock. What... what did she just hear?

He wanted her to follow him?

She lifted her head and looked at his face. She was still taken aback.

Maybe he was just joking. She was hoping he would say it was just a joke with a wry smile. But all she could see was his expectant look, waiting for her positive reply.

”What do you think?” he asked slowly, hopingly.

She sighed. She never planned to follow him for the tour. She was already busy with her modelling job and would be starting her practical training too. She would not have time for anything else.

”Don't answer now. Take more time to think,” he said quickly when he saw the helpless expression on her face. He knew she was about to reject his proposal and he did not want to hear it.

She closed her eyes and buried her face against his ċhėst. She would do as he said, think more about it.

”Ryn, you're finally awake`” Mika cried as she jumped onto Ryn when she saw her best friend standing at the door of her chalet. She did not even bother to cover the lovebites all over her neck and decollete as she was too happy to see her best friend finally ready to enjoy the day.

Jeremy ċȯċked an eyebrow before he looked behind Mika where Jason was rubbing his nape sheepishly.

”You should make her more exhausted. How come she has so much energy early in the morning?” Jeremy asked his best friend.

”She drained mine,” Jason shrugged without a lick of shame.

”Baby,” Mika gasped in horror to hear the conversation between the men. She looked around and let out a relieved sigh. Luckily only the four of them were here. She did not know where she could hide her face if someone else heard this.

Jason laughed as he pulled Mika from Ryn. He hugged his wife and kissed her lips lovingly. ”It's just a joke between us. Don't take it personally.”

”Hmph...” Mika did not look horrified anymore as she was drunk in his loving care.

Ryn shook her head in bemused. It seemed like marriage suited Mika so much. She looked happier and peaceful in the arms of the man she loved. She looked at Jeremy who was gazing at her silently.

”What?”

”Are you jealous of them? We can be like that too,” Jeremy suggested.

”Why should I be jealous? I am happy for Mika,” Ryn shook her head in disbelief. He seemed to be in a weird mood recently. She had no idea what was on his mind.

”Alright, you two. I have booked us breakfast so you two should get ready,” Jeremy quickly told the couple. He then turned to look at Ryn, ”Let's go back. We'll wait for them at our place.”

Ryn nodded dumbly. She thought her 'neighbours' were ready for breakfast but it seemed like her arrival has become their alarm clock as they just got up. Luckily, though, Mika remembered to wear Jason's shirt or she would be in her birthday suit when she opened the door.

Both sat on the chaise they sat on last night. The sun was behind their chalet so the ray did not hurt their eyes. They gazed at the open sea.

”Have you thought about what we discussed last night?” he asked suddenly as she was getting sleepier listening to the wave.

”Hmm...?”

He turned and rested his head on his palm as he looked at her. ”Follow me to the tour. Accompany me during the tour.”

”Still that?” she murmured sleepily. Her eyes were getting heavier by now. The waves could be an effective lullaby in her opinion.
