Chapter 524 - The hen party (3) (1/2)

They both took the train to go around the place. Mika did not waste any time recording the whole journey. She also praised Ryn for being such a good best friend to her for arranging this for her party. She was not even sad that only the two of them were spending time together when usually the hen party would be joined with a lot of girlfriends and even female relatives.

Just having Ryn with her was enough.

Once they finished the trip, both got down from the train and started to walk. They put on the cap on top of their head to protect themselves from the sun. Their hand was holding a bottle of water which Ryn bought before they got onto the train.

”So which one should we play first?” Ryn asked. As this was for Mika, she would let her best friend choose what they would do.

Mika looked around before she pointed at the basketball stall where huge plush toys in the shape of fruits hung all around it.. Ryn nodded and started to walk to that stall. Her mind was thinking of how to win at least one plush toy for Mika. Surely they could not leave empty-handed.

Ryn paid for six sets before looking at Mika who was already recording the whole thing. She smiled.

”I'm going first,” Ryn took the ball and took an aim carefully before she threw the ball. It did not go into the hoop but this failure did not put her off. Ryn tried again but the other two tries resulted in failure again.

Mika handed her camera to Ryn so Ryn could record Mika in action. Mika took the ball but instead of throwing it into the hoop, she played with the camera first. Once she had enough fun, she looked at the hoop. Her eyes no longer shone playfully but narrowed seriously.

She threw the first ball. It went into the hoop.

She threw the second ball. It also went into the hoop.

She threw the last ball. Again, it went into the hoop.

Ryn recorded every moment of it.

”Your turn,” Mika said happily after she chose the plush toy as her prize.

”I don't think I have luck today,” Ryn murmured but she did hand the camera back to Mika so she could do the second round.

Ryn took a deep breath to calm herself. She ignored the giggle coming from Mika/ The siblings were not only genius in education, but they were also genius in sports. Hence, it was not a surprise for Mika to manage to throw all balls into the hoop.

Whereas Ryn, despite her slender body, was bad in sports. But for Mika, Ryn would for any sport even though she was bad at it.

The second round continued. This time she almost managed to get the ball into the hoop, much to the cheer from Mika.

”Don't worry. You almost got it,” her cheerleader was so excited even though the ball did not go into the hoop. And when she had a prize for throwing all the balls into the hoop, her excitement was not as much as when Ryn was throwing the ball.

Ryn took a deep breath and threw the second ball. Again, it just bȧrėly touched the hoop but did not go into it.

The third one went into the ball, much to the amazement of Ryn. Mika on the other hand shouted loudly as she hugged Ryn excitedly.

Ryn won a very small plush toy. To compare it to the huge plush toy Mika won was like a big watermelon and a small grape.

Ryn sighed heavily. When she thought she could win something for Mika and forgot that she was not a good sportswoman.

For the third and fourth, Ryn failed to throw any ball into the hoop while Mika threw all the balls into the hoop.

The huge plush toys were arranged beside Mika neatly but her attention was on Ryn who was on the last round. She prayed desperately for Ryn to win this round. Please, God, let her throw all the balls into the hoop.
