Chapter 522 - The hen party (1) (1/2)

Ryn woke up and stared straight at the wall blankly. It has become a habit for her nowadays. Five minutes to ten minutes she did not move, even until half an hour she never moved from her position and kept staring at the wall. Then, she finally snapped and made a beeline into the bathroom.

Her bladder was at the point of exploding if she kept daydreaming on the bed.

She returned back to the bed and searched for her phone. She remembered that she did not charge it yesterday and just threw it anywhere before she fell asleep last night..

She found it underneath the blanket, almost at the edge of the bed. She quickly attached the charger to it and left it on the nightstand to be charged.

The cameras all over the house has been taken by the crews last night when they left the house. She had no idea what kind of videos they got but she hoped it was something good. She did not want to waste their time the whole day filming her.

Now, she was ready to start the day.

She walked to the kitchen, rubbing her nape sleepily. She quickly set the coffee machine and opened the refrigerator. She realized she needed to buy some bread later but then again... maybe she can wait until she returned. She needed to stay focus as today she needed all her wit and concentration.

She made four sunny-side-up eggs. It was just enough to keep the hunger at bay before she had her real breakfast with Mika.

Yes, the hen party would start in the morning and it would last the whole day.

Once she was done with her pre-breakfast, she returned to her room to get the phone. She sent a message to Mika to confirm their plan. Of course, she did not tell what she had in mind, just telling Mika what time she should come to pick her up.

Once she was done with the message, she put it aside and went to have a quick shower. For the party, she put on a fairy-like almost like a tutu skirt on top of her legging. The shirt she wore has the word bridesmaid across it. Yes, for Mika, she could wear this kind of shirt. Besides, she did feel guilty when she could not do much for the wedding preparation when she was the only bridesmaid for Mika.

She did not mind if Mika refused to wear the shirt she prepared. For today, she actually managed to find a shirt with the word 'bride' and it was sent just on time for the party. Well, it was sent to the guard yesterday and she received it, well, Jeremy received it on her behalf when he sent her home last night. Just right on time for today's hen party. She even washed them quickly after the crews left and hang them dry underneath the fan.

She tied her hair nicely and put on a pretty headband. She even put on a simple and light make-up... just for today.

If people did not know what she would do for the day and with whom, they would think she was preparing to go on a date.

Once she was done preparing herself, she looked at the collection of bags and chose a cute sling bag. Then, she chose a tote bag to put other things she managed to prepare in such a short time.

She did not include the bride shirt for Mika. She would ask Mika if she wanted to change into it and do it here.

She was just drinking a glass of water when her phone rang. She smiled when she saw Mika's name. The bride-to-be has finally arrived.

”Hello, beautiful bride-to-be,” she greeted cheekily when she opened the door.

Mika grinned widely as she held the skirt she was wearing and turned around as if she was showing off to Ryn. Then, her eyes widened when she saw what Ryn was wearing.

”I have one for you,” Ryn said before paused, ”If you want to wear it.”

”Where's mine?” Mika asked eagerly. She was not ashamed of wearing it at all. If Ryn, who was so proper in the type of clothes she wore could wear it, she had no problem wearing one. Besides, she was a bride-to-be and today was her hen party, the day she would celebrate as a single lady before she got married to the love of her life.

Ryn handed the shirt and waited for Mika to change her shirt. She sat on the couch and looked at her phone. Jeremy told her the car already arrived downstairs and the key was in the post box.

Yes, as she still hasn't bought her car yet, she asked Jeremy if he could rent a car for her. She did not want anything too pricey as she was afraid that she accidentally had an accident and ruined the car.

She had no idea what kind of car he picked for her but as long as the driver helped to fill the oil tank, she did not care anymore.

Mika skipped to the living room wearing the 'bride' shirt. She even put her hair in a pigtail and added a flower clip.  ”I'm ready.”

”I'm driving today,” Ryn announced as he took out two stickers from a drawer.

”Here,” Mika was not scared at all when she handed her car key immediately.

”I asked Jeremy to rent a car for me,” Ryn said. She stretched her arms and yawned sleepily.

”Ryn~” Mika gasped when she saw the yawn. Was Ryn still sleepy? What about her hen party?
