Chapter 518 - Too many things to do, too little of time (1/2)

Several hours later she woke up. She sat up on the bed and stared at the wall blindly. She gazed at it without a word and it went on for several minutes. Then, she finally rubbed her eyes as she moved to stand on the thick carpet.

Time to start the day.

She looked around and covered her mouth as she yawned. She stretched her arms and turned back to look at the bed. And then shook her head.

No. She should not go to sleep again. Not yet..

She made up her mind and walked to the bathroom. Her bladder could no longer hold it.

A few minutes later, she returned back into the bedroom, still yawning. She already in another outfit, her usual outfit; a pair of sweatshirt and tracksuit. She stopped at the bed, gazing at it longingly.

”Who cares,” she murmured and without thinking, climbing back onto the bed, pulling the comforter as she laid comfortably on the bed.

She totally forgot about the cameras that were recording her every single move. She was too exhausted and her bed refused to let go of its grip over her.

This time she slept for another four hours.

When she finally woke up, the sun was already high in the sky. She sat up and yawned loudy as she stretched her arms. Then, she blinked her eyes, trying to remember what day was today and whether she had to do something.

Three minutes were the time it took for her to remember that she has to check the hotel for the hen party.

She looked for her phone and found it still where she put it last night; on top of the nightstand. She reached for it and smiled to see it was fully charged.

Instead of sitting there checking the messages, she again stood up and walked through the door with the phone. It was already late and she still hadn't had her breakfast yet. In fact, she also missed her lunch.

She put the phone on the counter and went to open the steak freezer. She took out two pieces of uncooked steaks. Then, she busied herself taking out the spices she would use for the steak. She left them on the counter and poured herself a glass of water.

She needed to wait for the steaks to thaw first before she could cook her brunch.

She walked to the gym with her phone. But, instead of starting to exercise, she just sat on the floor crossed legs and scroll through her media social. She pursed her lips when she saw how many likes she had. And the comments.

It was so many she knew she would not be able to read and answer every single one of them.

She looked around, looking for inspiration for today's post. Then, she hit her head. How could she forget about her food? She could always take photo of what she was eating and it was enough for her daily task.

She continued by checking the messages. So far only Mei Li did not leave her any message. Jeremy was reminding her about the hen party, that she should not forget to book the hotel and the activities she planned to do with Mika. She also needed to remember to come for the practice but it was not at the studio or his home but at the orphanage house. She should start practice with the whole team.

Jeremy could not come to pick her up but sent a driver to do it. He did not mention that he was worried that she would be uncomfortable when filming in a cab or a Grab, hence, allowing the family car to be used as the mean of transportation while she was filming the episode.

Ryn checked the time and ġrȯȧnėd. She did forget about it and she should start her move or she would be late.

”But I'm hungry,” she rubbed her stomach ruefully. She wanted to eat but at the same time, she had to head to the orphanage now.

Argh... she has too many things to do but too little of time. She ignored the fact that if she did not sleep again the first time she woke up this morning, she would not lose more than half the day just by sleeping! No. It definitely was not her fault at all. She was innocent in this.

She went to the kitchen and looked at the steaks sadly. But, instead of putting them back into the freezer, she started to mix the spices and patted the spices all over the meat to marinate both. Hopefully, once she was done with what she should do today, the steaks were already ready to be cooked.

She then returned to the wardrobe to her tracksuit to jeans. She also grabbed a cap and a backpack.

She was just packing her bag when someone rang the bell. Frowning, she looked at the screen for the camera outside and saw a man. She recognized the man as the driver for the Long family.

”Yes?”

”Good evening, Young Mistress. I am here to bring you to the orphanage,” the driver explained politely.
