”I go to work first. Are you sure you're okay here?” he asked for the third time. They were now standing at the door with him in his work attire that she actually chose. He asked her for that and to his surprise, she agreed and took the time pairing his clothes as well as the pin she put at his tie.

”Yeah, it's okay. If I need anything, I can just order,” she replied. As she was on a break, she did not have to go anywhere.

Even if she did need to go out, she could call a taxi or a Grab. She was not worried at all.

He kissed her again. He really did not want to leave but he has to attend two meetings today. Luckily both of them were good now and she has forgiven him so he could focus on his work..

”You should go now or you'll be late for the meeting,” she told him after the kiss.

”I really don't want to go yet,” he whispered against her lips, ”I don't want to be separated from you.”

She giggled. Him being this clinging was cute. She gave him another kiss before pushed him away. ”Go.”

”I'll be back for lunch?” he gave her a puppy-eyed look. He loved spending time with her, having meals with her. Even when they were doing their own thing, just seeing her with him brought satisfaction to him.

”Hmm... anything just call me,” Ryn nodded. She did not mind cooking lunch for him when the kitchen was all stocked with ingredients. Besides, if she was lazy, she could just reheat the side dishes that were in the refrigerator.

”I love you,” he said and waited with bated breath that she would repeat those three words.

”Bye,” she told him with a giggle, pushing him even further toward the elevator. He would just not leave unless she forced him to. When he finally left albeit reluctantly, she let out a heavy sigh and closed the door.

She stretched her arms as she walked to the dining table. There was nothing there for her to wash. Even if she went to the kitchen, there was nothing for her to do because he already washed everything while she went to have her shower. Right now, she was no longer only in his shirt but wearing Mika's clothes... like usual.

It did seem she always borrowed Mika's clothes every time she came here.

She climbed up the stairs to go to his bedroom. Hopefully her phone all fully charged so she did not have to bring the powerbank around. Ah... she needed to recharge the powerbank too.

She reached for her phone and checked the messages. It seemed like Mei Li was trying to call her again when she was the only one giving her miscalls. Mika did not call her at all. It seemed like after Ryn promised about the hen party, Mika was giving her time for arranging the party.

”Hello, Mei Li. What's wrong?” she asked straight away when her manager answered the call.

”Urm... can we have like... lunch together? I have something to discuss with you,” Mei Li asked slowly. She wanted Ryn to have good mood when discussing with her and food made Ryn feel happy.

”Lunch? I've promised Jeremy to have lunch together,” Ryn frowned. She did not want to cancel her plan for something that she knew could be done some other times. Besides, Jeremy could be quite vulnerable and sėnsɨtɨvė recently and she did not want to hurt his feeling.

”Ah... then, can we meet now? I'll pick you up,” Mei Li just could not wait any longer. Her eyes shone brightly at the thought of discussing this with her charge. She could not believe this was happening again. After that time and Ryn told her it was a disaster, she thought they would not get another invitation but now...

Ryn checked the time and decided she would not have enough time to cook for lunch if they were discussing it outside. Besides, what was wrong with having the discussion here? It was not as if Jeremy would get mad if Mei Li came here. Ryn thought it would make her boyfriend felt better if she did not go out and have the discussion here.

”Why don't we discuss it here?” Ryn suggested. She liked the plan better once she said it out loud.

”Here? Where?” Mei Li asked in a puzzle. She did not mind where they were having the talk as long as they could have it by today. Immediately.

”I'm at Jeremy's,” Ryn explained. There was no blush on her cheeks. It felt normal for her to say that to Mei Li. Besides, what was there to be ashamed of? Mei Li knew her relationship with Jeremy and it was normal to spend the night at her boyfriend's house.
