Chapter 471 - Breakfast vs dinner (1/2)
Ryn stirred a bit when Jeremy was carrying her into their room. She sighed as she blinked her eyes at him sleepily.
”You're awakened?” he asked but his legs kept moving, bringing her closer to the bed.
”Hmm… what time is it now?” she asked, burying her face against his broad chest. He smelled so good. She could not have enough. He made her so peaceful and sleepier. And she liked it.
”Almost 9.00 pm,” he replied.
”Hmm… where are the others?” she asked.
”They're in their room…” Jeremy leaned to whisper naughtily into her ear, ”To make a baby.”
Her cheeks reddened. She turned away, running from his eyes shyly.
He chuckled. He was just teasing her. Of course, if she wanted it, he would gladly offer his 'service' to work hard on making their baby. He would not force her if she was too exhausted. Their day was… even though seemed nothing much but he knew how hard she was working. Not only she was helping Mika with her hair, makeup, and dress during the shooting but she even instructed the whole thing. Even when they were having lunch, she was busy thinking and planning what to do at the next set.
”You should take a shower first or else you'd not feel comfortable sleeping,” he suggested. As she was now awakened, it was better to make sure she is washed before sleep.
She insisted on walking to the bathroom and he let her have her way. He just sat on the sofa and crossed his legs. Immediately he took out his phone to check the work progress. His lips pursed as he checked Jacob's report.
He was talking with his personal assistant when Ryn came out wrapped snugly in the bathrobe. Her hair was wrapped in another towel, wet from the shower. She felt so refresh now.
”You should take a shower too,” she told him as she reached into her bag to get a pair of shorts and shirt to wear for sleep. Her dirty clothes were put into the basket. Tomorrow morning, she would pack them into her bag after taking out her last pair of clean clothes.
”Five more minutes,” he replied without looking at her. He was frowning as he listened to Jacob's report.
She shrugged and went back into the bathroom to change into her sleeping attire. She was too sleepy to push him around.
He continued with his work while she went to deal with her long hair. Once she was satisfied with her hair's dry condition, she quickly threw the brush to the vanity table and went to lie on the bed. She was too sleepy to care what he was doing. She was so exhausted and only wanted to sleep now. Nothing else mattered.
The next day, she found herself waking up in his arms again. She blinked her eyes a few times and yawned.
”Good morning, my love,” he greeted huskily. He woke up when he felt her moving. It was not a dream after all. She was sleeping in his arms.
”Morning,” she replied back and tapped his shoulder.
”What is it? Morning kiss? Do you want one?” he asked, his eyes glinted naughtily. He of course would ask her first as she was still getting used back to their relationship (and their morning position). He wanted her to get used to the idea of her waking up in his arms every single day.
She yawned right after he asked. She shook her head, refusing his offer. Her mind was still cloudy from the sleep and he wanted to be romantic? No.
He did not force her. He simply watched what she would do next.
She pushed his arm around her waist away sleepily before stretched her arms. She was glad that she was still fully clothed. He did not take them off her. A brownie point for him for respecting her (even though yesterday it seemed like he did not care a bit).
She yawned as she stood up. She rubbed her sleepy eyes, ignoring the grin on his face, and walked to the bathroom. He rested his head on his hands as he stared at the ceiling. He could not stop grinning. She always looked beautiful but he found she was most beautiful when she just woke up. It made him determined not to repeat his mistake and lose her again. He did not think he could survive without her in his life.
She came out from the bathroom, still yawning. Her feet made a tap tap tap sound as she walked to the huge sliding door for the balcony. She drew the curtain and unlocked the door. Then, she slid the door open and took a deep breath.
”So beautiful, isn't it?” he asked after he wrapped his arms around her from the back and rested his chin on her shoulder.
”Hmm…” she nodded. She could see the ancient buildings from here. Yesterday she did not notice it at all. Maybe she was too anxious to get the perfect photos for her best friend's pre-wedding shoot. She did not look at the surroundings when they checked into the room. She only realized how beautiful this place was this morning.
