Chapter 465 - You are my heart and my life (1/2)

The dinner was in a restaurant 10 kilometers away from where they had their photoshoot. Jason was the one who chose it. It was an abrupt decision but he managed to book a table for them. All four of them changed back their clothes into the ones they wore earlier. The clothes they wore for the shoot were packed and the driver would bring them back to the mansion.

The couples walked into the restaurant hand-in-hand but when they met the waiter, the waiter brought them out to the back. Ryn looked at Jeremy with a frown but he just smiled, patting her arm comfortably.

”Here is your table,” the waiter announced as he showed them a table on the cobblestone overlooking the sea.

”We should sit here,” Mika told Ryn, pointed at the chair closer to the waist-length wall. She patted the chair, thinking it would make it easier for her to chat with her best friend. It was almost expectable when Jeremy took a seat beside Ryn while Jason sat beside Mika. Jason even kissed the back of Mika's hand gently, tenderly once he landed his butt on the chair.

The waiter hid a grin when he saw how loving the couple was. He looked at the other couple and was a bit puzzled seeing this couple was not as romantic as the other couple. But they looked the same age as the other couple.

The couples were not looking at the waiter. Jeremy and Ryn read their menu quietly while Mika and Jason shared a menu. Jason discussed the menu with Mika while Ryn immediately looked for meat. Jeremy saw what she was doing and chuckled. He put down his menu and scooted closer to her. ”We're at the sea so why don't you replace meat with seafood?”

She lifted her head and looked at him with a frown. Seafood in the place of her favorite meat?

”Love, for once?” he coaxed, stroking her hand gently.

She pursed her lips but refused to speak a word. She turned back to look at the menu quietly.

He smiled and turned back to the menu. Then, he looked at the waiter and told him what he wanted. Then, he looked at the couple in front of him with a chuckle. He did not know whether the couple was here to have dinner or to share loving words. He swore he heard his little sister giggling behind the menu Jason was holding. He looked back at his girlfriend and found her frowning seriously. Was choosing food so hard? Why was she being so serious?

”Do you want me to help you?” he asked her.

She ignored him. Her focus was entirely on the menu. What should she choose for dinner? All looked delicious.

”We've chosen the wine,” Mika announced as Jason handed the menu back to the waiter.

”Ryn?”

Ryn put down the menu with a sigh. She had no idea what to have honestly. Everything looked delicious.

Jeremy smiled as he opened the menu for her and pointed at a dish, ”Why don't you have this?”

She looked at what he pointed and nodded. It did look delicious and she was all for delicious food.

The waiter collected the last menu and went back into the building to hand in the orders. He finally believed these four were couples. Despite the other couple was not as romantic as the loving ones, they still released the spark that the couple usually has albeit not that sparkly.

”Do you want to come here again just the two of us?” Jeremy suddenly asked, breaking the thought Ryn had when she was gazing at the sea. As it was getting darker, they could not see the scenery that much but the wind did make Ryn feel so refreshing and relaxed. She smiled when Jeremy, without warning, went closer and hugged her shoulders from the back even though she was still sitting on the chair.

Mika did not notice what he was doing because she was busy being doted by Jason. She looked at Jason adoringly, even holding his hand as he whispered sweet words into her ear. She giggled and shared a few kisses with him, ignoring the presence of her own big brother and her best friend.

When the waiter came with the food a few minutes later, the scene that welcomed him was the sight of the couples deep in their own world. They did not even notice him already arrived with their food.

The waiter cleared his throat to announce his arrival. When the couples looked at him, he gave them his brightest smile and informed them that he was bringing their food. With a flawless movement, he started to arrange their order on the table.

Jeremy helped Ryn with her napkin as Jason did for Mika. The waiter hid a smile when he saw their unconscious movement.
