Chapter 452 - I need your help for the wedding (1/2)

Ryn followed Mei Li into the elevator. They just finished discussing a new program that Ryn was invited to participate. Ryn was a bit uneasy as this involved a few days when she was already busy with the wedding and her other work commitments but the producer assured her that they would not cause her to neglect any of her work. They spent almost an hour just to discuss and finally, Ryn agreed to sign the contract. In just less than half a day, she signed a contract with them and would appear on the television for another program.

Sigh.

It seemed like after her daily life was pictured on the television last time and the new yet to be played, more people were interested to know about her. And she realized deep in her heart, the interest was mostly because of Jeremy too. She was now known not only as an international model but also as Jeremy's girlfriend. Did she like the title? No. She did not want people to know her as Jeremy's girlfriend. She wanted everyone to know her for who she really was.

As Ryn.

”Don't worry too much,” Mei Li coaxed. She knew Ryn did not truly agree with this but she did not want to disappoint Mei Li as both of them knew once she started her practical training, she would again slow down her modeling career to put focus on her training.

”Easy for you to say. You're not the one who has to talk in front of the television,” Ryn murmured.

”You won't fall asleep, Ryn,” Mei Li said with a chuckle. ”You don't have any work before the program. It is a week after the wedding so you still have time to rest and prepare yourself.”

Ryn sighed. There was not once the thought of falling asleep in front of the camera hit her mind. She was only worried that she could not do her best when doing the job. Of course, she was used to instructing other models but it was only among the models in the agency. She never had any experience giving instruction... wait a minute, she did have the experience. The first day she had that daily life shooting, she did show Harry how to improve his walking. Maybe that scene was what made the producer chose her.

”Don't worry. You can do it,” Mei Li cheered her up. She still thought that Ryn was worried about her sleeping habit.

”I hope so,” Ryn murmured slowly.

They got into the car. Mei Li quickly put in the address for the next job in her GPS system. It was fitting for tomorrow's show.

”Do you need coffee?” Mei Li asked once the system was on and ready to bring them to their destination.

”Just buy any coffee. I don't mind,” Ryn said. She needed the caffeine. The discussion just now did drain some of the energy in her. She needed to stay awake and happy during the fitting.

Mei Li looked around and smiled when she saw a family drive-through restaurant; Starbucks. Instead of only one Americano for Ryn and Java Ch.i.p.s for her, she also bought powdered doughnuts.

They continued their journey and finally reached the building where the designer was waiting. Ryn waited until Mei Li locked the door and together they walked into the building, each clutching their own coffee.

”Morning,” Ryn greeted cheerfully. The caffeine actually gave her energy to keep on smiling and having the mood to be friendly.

”Morning, you two,” the others who were in the studio greeted the two women. They even exchanged hugs and air-kisses.

”Sorry if we're late,” instead of Mei Li apologizing to them, Ryn opened her mouth and apologized first even though they actually came just right on time. Not a minute late.

”No, you're not,” the designer who was holding a dress said with a smile. He hung the dress and shook his hand at her, ”You're being playful again. Why do you love to pretend you're late when you're not?”

Ryn giggled. She skipped to the dresses at the rail and looked at them. ”So beautiful. You've gone over your limit again.”

”Ah, thanks to all my muses,” he said with his chest all stuck up proudly.

The models who were listening to their conversation giggled. They all knew who the muses were and one of them was obviously Ryn.

”But darling,” the designer said with a cluck of his tongue when he finally looked at her body, ”You've lost your weight again.”

”I am trying to gain weight. I even ate two doughnuts on my way here,” Ryn cried with Mei Li nodded behind her.

”Do I need to adjust your dress again?” he started to fret.

”How much I need to gain more? Do I have the time?” Ryn started to fret too. She looked for the dresses with her name on them and put them against her body. ”I don't think you need to adjust that much... do you?”

”Ryn!”

”I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lose weight again. I was too busy,” Ryn cried.
