Ryn smiled. She knew it was not his fault. Mika was being her spoiled child mode again. Mika did not think much when she made a plan.
So the blame should go to the right person; her silly best friend.
Mika needed to learn that some people have to earn money by working and pretending that it was a job was like an insult to her. She should not treat it like a joke. It was not even funny.
”Are we good?” he asked.
”Hmm...” she nodded.
”Lucky me,” he whispered.
”Hmm... lucky you...” she lifted her head and looked at him. She knew he was glad she did not blame him.
”Yes, lucky me,” he repeated and kissed her gently.
They shared a smile. They kissed again and just hugged tightly, sharing their body warmth even with their clothes blocking them.
No one could come between them. Not even Mika.

Mei Li went back into her office once she decided that Young Master Long has managed to cool Ryn's down. Her eyes widened and her cheeks reddened when the first thing she saw when she opened the door was the couple embracing and exchanging loving and romantic words. Without thinking, she quickly closed the door and went to the pantry to wait for some more time.
Sigh.
It seemed like she spent the majority of her working day today at the pantry.
Maybe she would return in another ten or fifteen minutes? Hmm... maybe make it half an hour. She should give ample time to the couple to express their love to each other.
She poured another mug of coffee. She sat on the chair and sighed again.
It's going to be a long day.

Ryn pulled back and smiled at him. They were still hugging each other in the middle of Mei Li's office room.
”Are you thirsty?” he asked, his eyes looked at her full of love.
”Hmm... I want chocolate,” she said.
His lips twitched. He bought coffee for her, not chocolate. What about the coffee he bought for her?
”But coffee is good too,” she said when she realized the uneasiness on his face. She could also smell the coffee. He bought coffee for her. Aww...
He smiled and went to get her coffee. He was not happy to see the ice all melted. Even his coffee was no longer as hot as he liked.
She sucked the coffee through the straw and sighed happily.
”Do you like it?” he asked. ”Delicious?”
”Hmm...” she nodded. She used one arm to wrap around his waist as she leaned comfortably against his chest while another hand still holding the coffee.
”Are you done with Mei Li? Are you ready to leave?” he asked once he found she already finished the drink. She seemed to be so thirsty.
Ryn looked around and sighed. She had nothing more to talk with Mei Li. She already had the answer she wanted so there was no more reason for her to stay here.
”Let's go,” she said.
Holding hands, both walked together without even informing Mei Li about her decision. They did not find it important to tell Mei Li. The manager should already understand when she saw the empty office.
”So, do you want to have your chocolate first or we just go to the company?” he asked as he started the engine. They were already in the car. She did not even comment when she realized that the car was parked quite far. She just walked with him and murmured her thanks when he opened the door for her.
