Chapter 424 - She doesnt love me (1/2)

Jeremy stopped at the traffic light. His fingers tapped the steering wheel as she deliberated. If he turned to the right, they would go straight to her home. However, if he turned to the left, they would go straight for his place.

Should he turn to the left or to the right?

He glanced at the sleeping beauty beside him, pursing his lips thoughtfully.

It took him several minutes but in the end, the car made its way to the right. He was still in the process of winning her heart completely so it would be better to take care not to make her angry. Besides, he also has the key to her home so it did not matter that much.

Of course, he would prefer for them to go back to his place. It was more comfortable and private. He would not have to be worried if anyone would take any photos of them because the parking lot was underground and no one could get inside without a residence card. Even in order to go to his floor, they would need the card for the elevator to go directly there.

Security-wise, he felt safer at his place but in order to win her heart, he would sacrifice anything and everything.Find authorized novels in , faster updates, better experience, Please click #'t-love-me_51671457494783654 for visiting.

He parked at the usual place; the parking lot for her apartment. Once he shut the engine off, he opened the door and frowned. Another problem to ponder about; he had three precious cargo to bring upstairs.

Which one should he bring first?

Ryn, the flowers or the food?

He did not think he could bring all of them all at the same time.

Ryn was deep in her sleep, never was she disturbed a second despite the car getting hot. She only stirred once but did not open her eyes at all.

He knew he needed to think fast. It would get hotter in the car and he did not want to disturb her sleep. After several seconds, he made up his mind. He went to the back to get the flowers. Then, he went to the front to place the flowers on her. He adjusted so it would be 'held' by her securely. And then, after he took a deep breath, he bent down to scoop her up like a princess.

He brought her carefully into the elevator and into her place. It was a bit of a struggle to ensure that her sleep was undisturbed and the flowers were safe from falling. Nonetheless, he managed to bring them safely.

He did not even bother to switch on the light. It was not a lucky guess for him to be able to go to her room under the darkness. As to how simple and minimalist she was, it was not hard to walk around in her house and even walking to her bedroom with no worry of hitting any furniture or stepping onto anything scattering on the floor.

He laid her gently on the bed. And then, he took the bouquet off her stomach where he placed it just before they got into the elevator, and went to search for a vase or something suitable to put the flowers in it. This time, he needed help from the lamp to light the way. But, he did not switch on the light in her bedroom. he did not want to interrupt her sweet dream.

He found a small vase but it did not fit with the number of flowers he bought. He narrowed his eyes at the small container and then at her 99 fat red roses. What should he do now?

He looked around until his eyes landed on the dish rack. His eyebrows lifted as a grin curled on his lips. No such thing as impossible in his dictionary. If there was not enough vase available, he could use something else to put the flowers in.

A few minutes later, he came into the bedroom with two containers full of red roses. Without thinking, he put both on the table and rubbed his hands proudly at his work. He then turned to look at the sleeping beauty on the bed and smiled.

She was still deep in her sleep. Now, she must be having a sweeter dream when lying on her own bed.

He went forward to pull the blanket to cover her body, to make her feel much more comfortable. Then, as she was satisfied with his work, he leaned down to press a kiss against her forehead. He ignored the fact that she should wash her face first before she went to sleep. All he did was taking off the hairband from her ponytail and massaged her head a bit to comfort her scalp. He knew sometimes during runway, her hair would be pulled and styled with sprays of chemicals to put them in place. Despite being silent about what she has to go through for her career, he knew she hated this aspect of her job.

And it was his job to make her feel better.

”Ah, the food,” he whispered. He almost forgot about the food when busy making Ryn felt better as well as keeping the roses in suitable containers.

Without wasting another moment, he went back to his car to retrieve the food. His lips twitched when he felt the box for the steaks was cold. He did not care about the dessert box being cold as the dessert should be cold anyway. But the steaks...
