388 A nobody like her (1/2)
Someone should be an adult in this kind of situation.
And that person would be her. Whether she liked it or not.
Sigh.
Another deep breath and another heavy sigh before she was able to control her emotion. She turned to look at her childish boyfriend who was supposed to be a genius.
And he was older than hers! He should be able to control his emotion better. Where was the cold prince of business? She could barely see that man in him today. And she wondered whether the person who gave that nickname to Jeremy was being blind. This Jeremy did not look cold at all. He was being childish through and through!
”Jeremy,” she chided.
He ignored her. He pretended to be so focused on his driving, he could not hear anything else.
”Jeremy,” her voice went higher seeing how childish he has become. Couldn't he stop acting this way and have a very adult conversation with her? Was it so hard?
So frustrating!
”We're here,” he said finally as he switched the signal to the left. He looked through the mirror before he turned to the left.
She looked outside and realized they were already outside the agency. He simply parked outside the main entrance and did not bother to find an empty parking lot.
Ryn turned back to look at Jeremy with a deep breath. ”Jeremy, stop being so stubborn. I'm going in now. You should go straight to the office.”
He leaned forward to kiss her lips gently. He pulled slightly and touched the top of her head, ”You be good, and don't go see that boy.”
Her eyes widened in shock at his order. How could he...?
She was about to argue but canceled her plan when she saw there were people outside watching full of interest. It would be embarrassing to be caught arguing with this stubborn bull. She sighed and reached for her bag before opened the door.
”Drive carefully,” she reminded.
”I love you, Ryn. Goodbye,” he said with a smile on his handsome face.
She twitched her lips but did not echo the same words, only mumbling her bye before she got out of the car. She ignored the calls from the media and walked into the building like she did not hear all the cry and questions. She also ignored the flashes of light.
Luckily, there were securities who handled them so they could not block Ryn from entering. But they felt stuffed and happy when they saw Jeremy the man who sent Ryn to work and he even kissed her despite seeing them. So much news they could create from these pictures!
He watched her entering the agency with a frown. Still, she refused to utter those three words even though they could no longer keep their relationship in secret. And why did he have the feeling that she would ignore his order and would go see that young kid?
With a scowl on his face, he switched the gear and drove the car away, ignoring the calls from the reporters trying to get his comment. He bet his personal assistant, Jacob, was wringing his hands in worry when he still did not reach the office. Once his relationship with Ryn was revealed to the world, there would be a lot of things to do to control the situation. Yesterday he already ordered his team to send just a simple message about his privacy and people should respect it. Despite that, he knew it was important for him and his team to do something, especially when regarding their business partners.
Ryn entered the agency with her cheeks reddened, especially when she saw so many people looking at her. She tried not to show her awkwardness receiving such a look but it was hard. This was why she refused to reveal their relationship when she agreed to accept him back. She disliked receiving this kind of look by others as if she was a show for them to be entertained with.
