344 Receiving a lot of meat restaurant offers from the episode (1/2)

”Wake up, Sleeping Beauty,” he whispered, their lips still touching each other.

She frowned but did not open her eyes.

”Hmm… I know you still want to sleep. But you have to wake up, love. We've arrived,” he whispered in between placing kisses against her lips gently.

”Hmm…” Ryn finally stirred. She blinked her eyes sleepily and once she realized the familiar face so close to her, a smile unconsciously spread on her face and she sighed a bit.

”Good morning,” he teased with a pinch on her nose. He pulled back from her and let her woke up properly, smiling all the time.

”Where are we?” she asked, looking around while rubbing her eyes.

”We've arrived,” he told her gently.

”Hmm…” she blinked her eyes with a yawn. Still sleepy!

”Come on. Let's go to the office. The faster we go and you have your discussion, the faster we can return home and you can sleep,” he coaxed, rubbing her head gently.

He got out of the car and went to her side to help her to get back to her feet. She adjusted the backpack on her shoulders and followed behind Jeremy. As they, well, it was Ryn alone, still not ready to reveal their relationship to the world, they did not hold hands in the public. They would treat each other as friends in front of other people… until Ryn was ready.

Jeremy pulled the door to open and waited until Ryn walked through it before he entered the premise. He took off his sunglasses and smiled at the receptionists.

”Hello,” he greeted.

”Hello,” the women at the counter greeted back, almost swooning seeing how handsome Jeremy was today. Of course, they wanted why he came today. Was it because of Miss Catherine, or he has a new project to discuss with their boss? But the questions did not stop them from enjoying the sight of Jeremy right in front of them. So handsome!

”Hello, girls. Is Mei Li here?” Ryn asked cheerfully but it was clear she just woke up. She made a beeline toward the bathroom to wash her face.

”She's upstairs,” one of the receptionists replied.

”I'll go first. You can go…” Ryn paused, ”… to the office?”

”Call or send me a message when you're done,” he told her and waved at the receptionists, ”Bye, girls.”

”Bye~” the receptionists waved quickly, their eyes sparkled brightly. In their excitement, they forgot to steal the chance of taking a picture with him. However, they thought to themselves, with Ryn still unable to drive the car, there was a humongous chance for them to meet Jeremy again.

Ryn did not wait until Jeremy left. She instead went upstairs to meet her manager. Along the way, she greeted others cheerfully while holding her sleepiness desperately. No one knew how sleepy she was, however, as she put on a cheerful expression on her face with wide bright eyes. If Jeremy saw her face right now, he would be chuckling while rubbing her head in amused.

She did not even have to knock the door. Mei Li was actually standing at the door talking with another colleague of hers.

”Ryn, you're here,” Mei Li cried as she hurriedly pulled Ryn into her room after excusing herself at her colleague.

”Hmm…” Ryn did not speak much. She allowed herself to be brought into the room, only to see Harry sitting on the couch, playing with his phone. ”Harry?”

Harry lifted his head and smiled. He stood up and wanted to pull her into his arms but he managed to control himself. He just stood right in front of her and said, ”Hey.”

”Hey back,” she replied, frowning, ”Am I interrupting you two?”

”No. He's already done with his discussion,” Mei Li answered. She went to get her planner and files.
