306 Working together again (1/2)
Everyone gasped and quickly ran to their seat. Their heaven ended too early! Only one day. Shouldn't the boss go there for two days or more? Shouldn't he turn into a Godzilla for two days or more there? Why would he return so early? So quick?
So when Jeremy entering the office area with Jacob following behind with his face black with frustration.
Everyone gulped nervously. Their boss was having a bad mood already? Who could help them? Mama…
Jeremy entered his office room and went to sit on the couch. He crossed his arms as well as his legs.
Jacob did not dare to sit. He simply stood tall like a plank, waiting for any instruction.
”Make sure tomorrow's meeting everyone is ready with their report. Ten minutes between each meeting for rest,” Jeremy instructed.
”Yes, sir,” Jacob nodded his head while his hands were busy taking down the order. According to the schedule, there would be three meetings.
”After the meeting with the shareholders, I have a meeting with my music management. Hence, I don't want to extend each meeting for more than two hours. Tell the managers to be prepared and come right on time or be prepared to be replaced by someone else.”
Jacob gulped but still writing down the warning. He would send them right after this. He also needed to urge those who haven't sent the reports to send them quickly. He needed to compile everything by today so that tomorrow he would not miss anything.
Jeremy gave more instructions to Jacob before he dismissed his personal assistant. He then took out his phone and checked. No message from her. Was she still in the flight?
He closed his eyes and tried to remember how long it takes for the flight to reach its destination. But he could not remember. He quickly checked the website and counted silently. And then groaned loudly. She was still up there on the sky, probably deep in her sleep.
He twitched his lips, hoping desperately to see how she looked right now. Knowing her, she must be sitting in the economy class even though she could pay for the first-class seat.
Then, he frowned. Who was sitting beside her? Was it a man? If it was a man, was that man eyeing her with a lustful look? Oh no, what should he do? He needed to protect his adorable, beautiful and naive Catherine from all those bad men.
If only she did not accept those jobs...
”Jeremy, stay focus. You still have a lot of work to do,” he groaned loudly. He could not keep mooning over Ryn when he had so many things to do.
He forced himself to the huge table where a tall pile of files waiting for him. He even had a headache when seeing the files were still untouched.
Better late than never, his heart whispered.
Before long the vein on his forehead popped.
What did he just read?
He reached forward and pressed the intercom.
”Jacob!”
Within five seconds, Jacob appeared in front of him, looking so flustered and scared.
”What is this?” Jeremy asked, throwing the file at Jacob.
”B... boss?” Jacob picked the scattered file on the floor and quickly looked at which department it belonged to. He groaned silently seeing it came from a familiar name.
