She automatically pulled the safety belt around her and waited for others to sit on their seats. Mei Li booked an aisle seat for her so she did not have to always make space for those sitting next to her whenever they needed to get out.
It was a small space but she made do with it despite her long legs. Just said she had a lot of experience sitting in the economy class even though she could pay for the business or first-class seat. For her, even economy class would bring her to her destination so why should she waste money? Wasting money was not in her diary... well, except it was for food. She could spend a lot on delicious food. No compromise.
Ryn waited until the flight attendant to finish explaining and demonstrating the safety manual and check each one of them for the safety belt before she allowed herself to sleep. It was, after all, a thirteen hours flight. A full thirteen hours of sleep!
She put on the eye mask.
She even smiled when she was drifting to sleep, which made the person next to her taken aback when she wanted to start a conversation with her. The girl pursed her lips a bit. Why was the girl next to her sleeping so early? The flight was just departing from the airport.
Ryn was spending the time blissfully sleeping, totally unaware that Irene and her family were in the same flight as hers. And unlike her, they took the first class.
The family would never ever step into the economy class. It would only lower their status. And they had to take care of their image. Irene, especially because she was after all a supermodel now (in her and her family's mind).
”Why are you looking down, Lil' Irene?” her second sister asked when she noticed her youngest sister was frowning once they entered the flight. Even when they sat on their respective chair, Irene was still having the frown on her beautiful face.
”Ha? Oh, nothing, Second Sister. I was just thinking about something unimportant,” Irene lied. She swore she saw that 'nobody' was using the same departure gate as them. Was that Ryn in this flight as well?
No. It cannot be. Why should she anyway? She had nothing to do in Paris.
Irene bit her thumb in frustrated. She could not deny that sometimes her instinct was right and it might be right this time. Ryn was on the same flight as hers!
Irene frowned. She just remembered it had been some times for her to see Ryn in the class and even on the campus. Where could that liar go?
She could not be... wait, it could be, right? Ryn pulled out from the university because she could not take it when everyone knew how untrustful she was. Such a liar should not be in their university. It would only drop the university's ranking in the country.
Irene nodded. It must be. And now that liar was on the way to Paris to beg for a job because in Paris no one knew her and her lying background. That must be it.

Mika stretched her arms and let out a delicate yawn. Then, she rubbed her bleary eyes with her right hand. What time was it now?
She looked around and remembered where she was. Her cheeks gradually turned red when the memory of what they did this morning hit her mind. They… they didn't do that, did they?
Her feet buried on the thick fluffy carpet and patted toward the bathroom. Although she still felt a bit sore in several parts of her body, her need to use the bathroom cannot be denied. Once she was done, she washed her hands at the sinks. Then, she finally lifted up her head and looked at the mirror.
”AHHHHHH!!!!”
Her loud shout filled the whole house. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked toward the room in shock.
Everyone including those in the living room. Jason winced. It seemed like his love saw her face. He was screwed. So screwed.
”Excuse me,” he murmured and without waiting for the Cheng's to reply, he walked upstairs toward his room. Better to face her wrath before it got worst.
However, when he reached the room, he was struggling so much to knock on the door. He stood there in front of the oak door and gulped. Was she furious? But… but.. in his eyes, she looked beautiful even with the smudged make-up. Everything about her was beautiful.
It took him another five minutes to gather his courage and opened the door. There, he found her screaming and pacing furiously. He gulped.
”Err… honey?” he called weakly.
She froze. Then, she turned around facing him. Her eyes blazed with anger. Her face was clear of any make-up, smudged or not.
He gulped. Luckily he already locked the door so no one could see his fate. He forced himself to stay put and gave her his puppy-eyes look. Surely her heart would melt seeing his pitiful face, right?
