Chapter 100 The special card (2/2)
Impossible. Too impossible. He would not like her. They were just friends. Just friends.
They did not speak more on the way to the company. He was too nervous. She, on the other hand, too lazy to speak. She kept sending and receiving messages from Mei Li, discussing and finalizing her schedule for next week and next month.
He stopped the car at the entrance. He watched as she took her bag and prepared to close the door. ”Well... see you later?”
”Yeah. Thanks for the ride, Harry,” Ryn popped back her head into the car and thanked Harry. Once Harry murmured 'You are welcome', Ryn closed the door and walked into the building.
Some of the workers stopped walking and chatting when they saw a young woman, a student entered the building with her backpack. What was she doing here? Trying to meet Jeremy, their boss? She must be a fanatic fan of Jeremy and thought she could simply slide into the company to meet him.
”So shameless.”
They waited for the security to stop her. They even waited for the receptionist to tell her off and call the security.
However, contrary to their thought...
The receptionists quickly stood up and welcomed Ryn politely. One of them even escorted the girl to the lift. To their surprise, the elevator the girl was using was actually the elevator for their boss!
The women quickly rushed to the receptionists, wanting to know the identity of that student. Why was she so special until she could use the special elevator?
”Vanda, who is that girl?” one of them asked curiously.
”Huh? Oh... that girl?” Vanda turned to look at the lift before at them. ”She's Catherine.”
”Catherine?” they gasped in shock.
Vanda nodded. She met with Ryn for a few times and each time, Ryn was in a different identity. Each time Ryn made her stunned and now, she could actually recognize Ryn in whatever attire she was wearing, even when she was wearing a cap. It was all down to Ryn's aura. She, Vanda, the best receptionist in the whole world, can proudly say she could recognize the supermodel Catherine even if she was wearing a beggar outfit.
”I don't believe it. Isn't Catherine a supermodel and that woman so... so...”
”Normal. She doesn't seem like a supermodel at all. She looks like a normal peasant!”
Vanda and her partner looked at the hysterical women, shaking their head full of pity toward these women. Isn't Catherine famous for being a chameleon? She could become anything and anyone just in seconds!
”I don't think...”
”She has the card,” Vanda stopped them from their questioning.
Everyone gasped. The card? The special card for the special elevator?
”Now do you believe me?”
The women could not say anything more. What else could they say? That woman whom Vanda declared the supermodel Catherine has the special card. The only ones they knew have the card would be Jeremy himself, Mika, Jason, Mika's fiance, and Catherine, the supermodel who is also the spokesperson for the company.
”Well?” Vanda cocked an eyebrow seeing the depleted look from everyone. ”Don't let Miss Mika sees you looking like that.”
They gasped and quickly scrambled toward the lift to go to their respected place. They did not want their salary being cut just like what happened to the people in the clothesline section.
