Chapter 65 A young woman (2/2)

He unlocked the door and rushed inside.

”Aun… ty?”

He stopped when he noticed a younger woman sitting on the couch in the living room.

He froze when the woman stood up and looked at him.

”Harry?”

He gave a slight nod. His teeth clenched tight. He did not want to open his mouth in case he said something. He went to the studio, hoping his crazy aunt would be there.

And he was right.

She was there, wrapping a painting carefully.

”Is the woman outside your client?” he asked, refused to utter her name.

”Hmm…”

”Why are you calling me here?” he asked. He had no idea how he could still maintain his tone toward his absent-minded aunt.

”She said she knew you and is hoping to see you,” she replied without thinking. With a huff, she lifted up the painting and walked toward the door.

”You are blocking the way.”

Harry gave way automatically. Then, he sighed, his shoulders slumped down.

”Let me bring it,” he took the painting from her and brought it to the living room, where the woman was still sitting there.

He placed it on the floor. Without looking at her, he quickly walked away.

”Harry, wait…” She wanted to stop him but he was too fast and Angel was telling her where the most suitable place to hang it.

She sighed heavily. Her shoulders slumped down.

”This is the rest of the payment.” She handed an envelope.

”Harry, come here and bring the painting into the car,” Angel called her nephew happily.

She could buy new canvas with this money.

Harry came slowly and without another word, lifting the painting and walked to the car parking outside. He finally realized another car was parked near the house.

He should realize it belonged to her with its striking colour; neon yellow.

If he knew, if he noticed it, he would not go into the house. He would find an excuse and leave the place.

He opened the bonnet and place it inside. Then, he closed it back and walked into the house.

”Aunty, if there is nothing else, I have to go now.”

Before both the women could say anything, he quickly headed to his car and started the engine.

”Harry, wait up,” she finally made up her mind and rushed outside, trying to stop Harry.

However, her cry was ignored and he drove the car away.

”Harry,” she cried.

She was still standing there even when the car was no longer in her sight.
