The peaceful development of the island base didn’t continue. There was a sudden change three days after Narvil’s transport fleet had arrived.

“Sir Leslie, there is a Candra Empire royal fleet that is ten kilometers northwest of us. Based on the direction, they should be heading towards us.”

Hearing the report of his subordinate, Leslie considered this, but he didn’t do anything. He had all the ships of the guard fleet prepare for battle while calmly waiting for the arrival of the Candra Empire’s royal fleet.

This was a situation they already expected.

They were moving in the southern seas of the Candra Empire and after all these days, the Candra Empire still hadn’t received this news and reacted, it meant that their royal fleet wasn’t worth worrying about.

Facts proved that although their reaction was slow, they did react as expected.

For the Frestech Chamber of Commerce, to build a base on the sea, they would definitely have to face the Candra Empire’s navy.

The guard fleet could run, but the island couldn’t run.

After half an hour, the fleet with the Candra Empire’s flags appeared to the northwest.

When he saw this fleet, the stone in Leslie’s heart had fallen down.

This fleet only had thirty ships and there were only two Thunderclap Grade Giant Warships. Compared to the third fleet that the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s guard fleet had met when they first arrived, it was a large difference.

The Candra Empire’s fleet had only come after receiving the news and had a certain understanding of the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s guard fleet, so they only sent these few ships. Unless the commander was an idiot, they definitely wouldn’t start a conflict with the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s guard fleet.

As expected, when Leslie let them approach, the Candra Empire’s royal fleet stopped a thousand meters away from the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s guard fleet. They only had the Thunderclap Ships continue forward.

This Thunderclap Ship approached while waving flags from the mast.

Leslie put down his telescope and ordered his own ship to go forward.

The two ships came beside each other on the sea and they went parallel to face each other.

Leslie came to the side and looked at the other side. He saw a middle aged man in an officer uniform of the Candra Empire’s royal fleet walk up.

The two looked at each other and Leslie saw that this middle aged had a gentle smile, not showing any signs of hostility which made him calm down even more.

“If I’m not wrong, you should be the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s guard fleet commander sir Leslie, right?”

There was only twenty meters between the two ships, so this middle aged man only needed to slightly raise his voice and Leslie could hear him.

Leslie was a bit surprised, he never thought that the other side would know who he was with a single glance.

It could be seen that the other side was prepared, he definitely investigated the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s guard fleet before.

“Yes, I am Leslie. May I ask which lord from the Candra Empire’s royal fleet this is?”

The middle aged man revealed a faint smile, “I am Remito Russell, I think that sir Leslie should have heard my name from chairman Xu.”

Leslie couldn’t help relaxing.

He had heard Xu Yi mention this name before.

Remito Russell was the vice chief of staff of the Candra Empire’s royal fleet, he was a true elite of the Candra Empire’s navy. He was much higher compared to the third fleet’s commander from before.

Leslie never would have thought that such an important person would come all the way out from the Candra Empire.

“Sir Russell, it is an honour to meet you. Sir chairman had mentioned your name to me before and expressed that you are a good friend of our Frestech Chamber of Commerce. He wanted me to send his regards if I had the chance to meet you.”

Russell slightly narrowed his eyes as a thought provoking smile appeared on his lips.

Xu Yi wanted Leslie to represent him in sending his regards?

Could it be that he already knew that he would be coming to see the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s guard fleet?
