Everyone fixed their eyes on Jin Xiangdong, while Jin Xiangdong did not give an exact answer, he stood up regardless. “You can understand by yourselves. This meeting is over!” Then he left the meeting room with his laptop under his arm.

Just walking to the door, he heard a howl of complaint from inside. “It’s outrageous to seek private profit in public affairs!”

“Ace has finally returned to this earth as a human being. We must be tolerant and understanding!”

Hearing these remarks, he lifted his mouth, and headed toward his office with long legged strides.

Early the next morning, Lu Jia’er appeared at a coffee shop near the Library of B University. The coffee here was well-known. Coffee was naturally a good choice for saying sorry.

Speaking of apologizing to Jin Xiangdong, this seemed somewhat illogical. But the neck of Jin Shengping must have been a concern for him over the past few days.

Fifteen minutes later, Lu Jia’er brought ten cups of coffee to the R&D center. Everyone was to have one cup, so that she would not be deemed distant, and she could enhance the bonding between these colleagues and her.

There just happened to be a meeting, so everyone was gathered in a conference room, once they had Lu Jiaer’s coffee in hand they thanked her and Lu Jia’er smiled lightly.

Dr. Zheng Jie even joked, “I’ve finally realized the benefits of having a girl join the team.”

“Yes, Professor Lu is so thoughtful. You let us drink coffee that tastes so good this morning!” Jason gave his praises after drinking it.

Lu Jia’er did not respond, but just smiled and then casually placed the last cup of coffee at the forefront of the conference table, in front of where Jin Xiangdong will sit.
