At this moment, he was like a lofty tree providing shelter just in time to escape from the storm.

“Didn’t you hear what the lady have said? Let her go!” Jin Xiangdong used a cold voice and commanding tone.

The fierce man wanted to break away, but his hand was caught in Jin Xiangdong’s iron grip firmly, and the force encasing his wrist was increasing. The man couldn’t help but frown. “I am really her husband!”

“You lied!” Lu Jia’er retorted.

The man’s eyes blinked a few times and said helplessly. “How could I lie? Would you like me to go home and fetch a marriage certificate for you?”

“No need for a marriage certificate and you don’t have it at all!” Lu Jia’er said coldly.

The man’s eyes blinked a few more times. Then he gave Lu Jia’er a glare. “Who said I don’t! Who said I don’t! You guys are nosy!”

“Let her go first!” Lu Jia’er said.

The man was reluctant to release the girl. Jin Xiangdong increased the force of his grip on the man’s hand.

“I’ll let go. I’ll let go!” In the end, the man had to let go of the girl and Jin Xiangdong slowly loosened his grip.

After the girl was free, she had a conditioned response and instantly hid behind Lu Jia’er. She was shivering with fear.

The man shot a glance at Lu Jia’er and was about to get away. But Lu Jia’er said. “Don’t you dare leave. Let’s go to the police station!”

On hearing the words the man fled to the right and tried to escape. However, he had only taken two strides before he was stopped by bystanders.

The man was restrained by two tall men. Another person nearby called the police with his mobile phone.

The onlookers expressed their opinions: we thought that “the couple” quarreled but it turned out to be attempted abduction of the girl!
