Chapter 17.2 - Madam is Wise (1/2)

Ji Yuan dodged it, but a long strand of his hair was cut off. His face darkened. He opened and closed his hand, and scarlet phantoms covered the sky, reflecting an infinite purgatory in this realm.

Wounds continued to appear on Ji Yuan’s body. Dark blood droplets fell down from midair like dots of ink, blotting the ground in puddles.

Lin Jiu did not hope to keep Ji Yuan here today. He hadn’t refined his Blood Puppet yet, nor done his forceful loving, so the heavens shouldn’t allow him to perish so quickly.

But for some reason, she had the nagging feeling that Wei Liang was hiding his true strength in front of his two disciples.

He didn’t use that phantom technique he used when he killed Wang Shan. After butting heads with Ji Yuan twice, he didn’t even use that pale white light he used to shatter the Wang Clan’s barrier.

If he had used his full strength, Ji Yuan definitely wouldn’t just be slightly injured.

While Lin Jiu was absorbed in her own thoughts, the dark blood droplets began to move slowly, crawling towards each other, forming larger and larger circles and gradually forming a stream.

Two long dark dragons quietly swam up from the ground.

In the air, Ji Yuan placed his hands in front of his body and an evil smile emerged on his lips. He chanted, “Dharma Seal—Righteous Demon Arise!”

A red tide surged from the void behind him. As if it was being born, an evil Godzilla-like crimson figure crawled out from the red tide.

This Righteous Demon was incomparably huge. As soon as it raised its head, it crashed straight into the sword construct that Mu Rong Chun had laid over Ji Yuan.

The Righteous Demon’s pointed horns smashed through as it roared ceaselessly in mid-air. Shock waves swept all directions, shaking the clouds near and far into ripples.

Ji Yuan smiled evilly and landed in the palm of the Righteous Demon.

At the same time, the two dark traces of blood suddenly rose off the ground like long snakes, one curling towards Liu Qing Yin, and the other towards Lin Jiu.

Liu Qing Yin was caught unawares and was swept away.

Needless to say, if even a Great Sword Immortal like Liu Qing Yin wasn’t able to dodge, how could Lin Jiu as a Middle Foundation Building cultivator do so?

The scarlet snake coiled around Lin Jiu’a body four or five times, binding her arms firmly to her side. A small section poked out, and the snake opened its mouth, emitting Ji Yuan’s deep and evil voice. “Don’t move. I don’t want to hurt you.”

The dark-colored blood snake flicked its tongue across her jaw and moved away.

If it weren’t for the fact that Lin Jiu had already been trained by Wei Liang to be invulnerable to all sorts of poison, then this might actually make her shake.

She looked up at Liu Qing Yin. This sister in distress wasn’t as calm as she was.

Liu Qing Yin’s pretty face was blushing red in both embarrassment and anxiety. She struggled desperately, but she had already exhausted her spiritual energy and was unable to break free.

Seeing her disobedience, the snake flicked its tongue, curled its body around her neck, and slowly tightened its hold. Liu Qing Yin’s fair and tender face suddenly filled with blood, and her lips parted faintly, and pained whimpers spilled out from between them.
