Chapter 15.2 - I Want to be Willful! (1/2)

Liu Qing Yin’s mind went on a wild blood-boiling adventure and her chest was filled with grief. Looking off to the side, she saw a dark tide surging in Wei Liang’s cold, dark eyes. Liu Qing Yin’s heart thumped as if she had suddenly returned to those days when she had fought alongside him.

Wei Liang had been seriously injured while fighting the Demon Lord and had yet to recover. It would be a tough battle against Ji Yuan. With the surrounding demons watching closely, what Wei Liang needed was a strong helper, not a burden that will only weigh him down!

Liu Qing Yin silently squeezed the hilt of her sword and said in her heart, ‘Master, this is our world, our battlefield! Outsiders can’t interfere!’

She couldn’t help but glance at Lin Jiu.

In instead of the expression of indifference she expected of Lin Jiu, the other woman was pursing her lips while a faint light glimmered in her dark eyes. It looked like she was excited.

Lin Jiu clutched Wei Liang’s sleeve and turned to him. “Ji Yuan’s weakness is his left-hand side.”

Whenever Ji Yuan manipulates the Blood Puppet, his entire left arm was refined into a blood arm that can be unfolded like a thread and connected with that of the puppet. Although the Blood Puppet had yet to be completed now, he had long begun refining the blood arm.

The left arm must be Ji Yuan’s weakness. Lin Jiu was certain.

On hearing this, Liu Qing Yin couldn’t help but angrily refute her. “Ji Yuan has always acted in the most secretive manner. Not even the Trace Seekers can get any information on him! If you don’t know anything, then don’t mislead Master!”

She whirled her head to stare at Wei Liang, as if hoping that Wei Liang would also reprimand this woman who didn’t know what she was talking about.

But Wei Liang’s lips were pressed together. He looked down at Lin Jiu. “Oh? And how should I punish you if you guess wrong?”

His tone was serious, but to Lin Jiu’s ears, he didn’t sound to be holding any nice intentions.

“It’s not a guess!” Lin Jiu insisted, looking more serious than him. She pointed to the thunderous clouds that were coming closer and closer. “You have to look at the full picture and observe carefully. Look at the intensity and density of the thunder. It’s obvious that the left and the right are uneven.”

“Oh?” Wei Liang looked indifferently at the storm clouds.

Mu Rong Chun looked at it for a while. “Forgive my eyes but, I really can’t see any difference?” he said truthfully.

Lin Jiu was sure of herself. “That’s another level of careful observation. Ever since Ji Yuan appeared with his thunder, I began counting the thunder strikes on both his left and right side. So far, the number of thunder strikes on the right side of his body outnumbered the left by 81 strikes. It’s enough to prove that he usually uses his right hand more!”

How she worked it out didn’t matter as long as the answer was right.

Liu Qing Yin knew that Lin Jiu was talking nonsense but she had no idea how to refute her.

But Lin Jiu didn’t spare her. She put on an expression as if she had been wronged by Liu Qing Ying. “Great Sword Immortal Liu, when exactly have I ever offended you? I’ve already left you alone about the aphrodisiac incident, so why are you still attacking me? What I am saying is clearly justifiable, but you just come up and start calling me out on my beliefs. How do you know that I am talking nonsense? What is the reasoning? If you can’t give me a reason then I won’t force you to apologize. I just hope you won’t be so prejudiced with me in the future…”

Liu Qing Yin forced out a laugh. “You! You…!”
