Chapter 10 (2/2)

1000 granules of the giant elephants in his body awakened, throwing out a terrifying force of 100 thousand catties right there and then.

That punch felt like it was able to warp the space around it, as a huge blast of concussive force raged on.

Jun Zhangjian’s expression changed immediately after sensing all that power. He pulled his hand back as soon as he could, but it was still too late.

Boom!

A rumble was heard, followed by the sound of bones cracking. Jun Zhangjian was sent flying like a cannonball, with the bones in his fingers immediately shattering.

What just happened stunned everyone from the Jun family who came to watch the sparring session.

What the hell just happened?

Lan Qingya, who made her way to the open ground with her master, looked just as stunned as everyone else.

Jun Linglong’s eyes glittered on the spot, knowing that she had chosen the right person to be her master.

Jun Zhangjian coughed and looked rather haggard, finding the bones of his fingers shattered. The shock in his eyes was unmistakable.

That blast of force was so terrifying that he was still reeling from it.

Jun Xiaoyao was just as surprised himself.

Isn’t Jun Zhangjian the Sequence Ten of the Jun family? Shouldn’t that guy be able to put up a better fight?

That’s it? That’s all he’s got?

Jun Xiaoyao’s face turned glum as he continued, “Brother Zhangjian, please don’t go easy on me just because I’m still young. Doing so would insult me.”

Jun Xiaoyao made a move once he finished speaking.

Jun Zhangjian’s expression changed immediately, feeling like he was being set up.

He dared to even swear to the heavens that he absolutely had no intention of going easy at Jun Xiaoyao.

Jun Xiaoyao was not the only one thinking that. Even the members of the Jun family watching the fight talked among themselves. Everyone thought that Jun Zhangjian was going easy on the boy.

Jun Zhangjian was forced to fight in earnest after seeing Jun Xiaoyao coming at him yet again.

“Nine Swords of Dawn!”

Nine blasts of the light of swords were seen tearing through space with an exceptionally powerful force that would have shocked anyone on the receiving end.

“Underworld Protection!”

Jun Xiaoyao immediately activated the ultimate defensive move of the Divine Elephant Overpowering Force.

The specter of the Reaper appeared, shrouding Jun Xiaoyao entirely within itself.

That nine blasts of light of swords crashed onto the specter before instantly crumbling into countless specks of light.

Jun Xiaoyao made his move yet again, conjuring onto his back pitch-black wings that looked like those belonging to demons.

His speed burst right there and then, appearing right before Jun Zhangjian.

“Spear of Underworld!”

Jun Xiaoyao extended his hand and grabbed at the air. Boundless divine force raged and materialized into a black spear burning in pitch-black hellfire, looking as if it was capable of piercing through everything in the world.

“Sword Chant of Violet Emperor!”

Jun Zhangjian cast his trump card hastily. A violet blast of the sword was seen tearing through the air right away.

Boom!

A terrifying clash erupted. Charged with 100 thousand catties of force behind it, the Spear of Underworld instantly shattered the violet sword before it and headed straight for Jun Zhangjian without losing any momentum.

Jun Zhangjian unsheathed the longsword on his back and instantly used it to block the move.

Boom!

A huge rumble was heard as Jun Zhangjian’s longsword fell out of his hand. He himself was sent flying as well, crashing hard onto a wall.

All of the members of the Jun family who came to watch the fight felt as if their eyeballs were about to pop out of their sockets. The shock written all over their expressions was unmistakable.

Only three moves were traded, right?

Jun Zhangjian the Sequence Ten was sent crashing to the ground already?

Dude, even if you were to go easy on the boy, that’s just going too far!

Even Jun Xiaoyao quickly realized what was actually going on.

He realized that Jun Zhangjian never went easy on him; he was just too powerful.

Jun Xiaoyao shook his head furiously and felt guilty about how he misunderstood Jun Zhangjian.

He went before Jun Zhangjian, who was looking very haggard from the beating. Jun Xiaoyao apologized feverishly, “Brother Zhangjian, I’m so sorry for misunderstanding you. I thought you were going easy on me. I didn’t think you were fighting at your best…”

Upon hearing what Jun Xiaoyao said, Jun Zhangjian felt as if he was about to spew all that blood he forcefully gulped down.

He wondered if he should instead blurt out the profanities he wanted to unleash on him.
