59 Disclosing Identities! (2/2)

”Please give me few hours Alex, I have to search for something, and after that, I will answer all your questions.” Alyssa requested Alexander.

”Ok. Do your work. If you need anything just call me. I will be in the car.” Alexander said and then he walked towards his car. He remain seated there and waited for Alyssa to complete her work.

”Alyssa and her team started searching the spot diligently once again.

But even after two hours, they couldn't find anything. Alyssa sighed in frustration. She was so close to the killer and so far from him at the same time.

”Let's take a break. We will come tomorrow.” Jake said tiredly.

Alyssa didn't want to quit her work. But she knew it was getting late and dark and she had to stop her activity.

She sighed and leaned on a nearby tree for support. It was then she felt something poking in her back. She turned around and found a dart pierced in the tree. Alyssa hurriedly took the necessary precautions and with the help of the required instruments, pulled out the dart from the tree bark.

She put the bark in a plastic zip-lock bag. She was excited. This was the evidence that she had waited for so long to find. Tracing the origin of the dart she could find the killer or the person who is helping him.

She kept the dart in her pocket and approached Alexander's car where the rest of her team members were already present.

She got inside the car and said, ”I found something but let's go to the hotel first.”

Everybody got inside the car and they drove to the hotel. Alyssa asked Alexander to remain in the car while the rest of them got inside the hotel and packed their stuffs. Later Alexander along with Alyssa, Noah, and Sebastian, drove to Alyssa's villa.

Their everything was already set, Alyssa took out the dart from her pockets and said, ”This is what I found there. This will help us to find the killer.”

”Wait. I want to know everything.” Alexander said stopping Alyssa to explain any further.

”Ok, then let's start from the beginning. I was strolling in the woods, where I found Sebastian unconscious on the ground. I thought he was the killer or may be related to him, so I brought him to my hideout and kind of kidnapped him. Later there was another attack in King's Town and I realized that Sebastian is not a killer. We thought of finding the killer on our own because from the pictures I got from the Royal Investigation Bureau, showed that the killer was someone else and not a vampire. So, we came to King's Town to find him. On the first day here we found that the killer was not a vampire but a werewolf with distorted DNA, we call it 'the diseased'. And today we found a dart of which I am sure is somehow related to the killer. Alyssa explained the whole story in a nutshell to Alexander.

”How you got the pictures of the victim?” Alexander asked surprised. It was a top security area and no one can hack it easily without starting an alarm.

”Hacking. She can hack anything from anywhere.” Jake replied, shocking Alexander.

Alyssa smiled sheepishly at Alexander but glared at Sebastian. She looked at Alexander and pouted, saying ”You will not tell this to anyone, right? Alex… you will keep my little secret right? Huh, right?”

This avatar of Alyssa was new to Sebastian. She was always confident and like an alpha male in front of him. he was shocked to see a feminine side of her.

”Of course,” Alexander replied and ruffled her hair adoringly.

Alyssa pointed at the dart on the table and asked Alexander, ”Have you seen this dart before Alex.”

Alexander concentrated on the dart and said, ”They seem very much familiar. Yes, I remembered, I have seen this with Victor, when we had gone hunting.”

Victor, as in Victor Bright, son of Count Albert Bright.” Alyssa asked in surprise.

”Yes. These are very potent darts. Only one dart is enough to make an animal unconscious.” Alexander said remembering the time where they went on a hunt and to win the hun, Victor has brought these darts with him.

”Are these darts exclusive to the Bright family?” Alyssa asked him.

”Yes, they are,” Alexander replied affirmatively. Every member of the royal family has a weapon of defense that is produced by them only. These weapons will only be used by their men or army. It is used as an identification of the group loyal to the particular member.
