However, she forced a smile on her lips which looked unnatural on her face, and said, ”This instrument, it's like a fan or related to it. It pushes the air that is already present between us as a wind. Now, you get it?” she asked, her voice full of hopes.

”No! not at all. It made me more confused. Shouldn't you have a generator, a motor, or something just like we find in a fan to push the air?” Jake questioned, from his looks, he looked genuinely confused.

Alyssa gaped at him. Moon Goddess, what is going on here? Shouldn't this dumb Jake just buy her explanation, why is he asking something in so detail?

God!!! Now is seriously not the time for him to act smart.

”I will explain everything to you later Noah.” She then looked at Jake and said, ”You know this invention is my secret, right? And you are a stranger to me. Why would I tell my secret to a stranger? Who knows what will you do with my secret invention or worst sell it to any mad criminal scientist?”

Jake scoffed hearing Alyssa's allegation. He said, ”The only mad scientist I know here is you.” Saying this he walked towards Alyssa and took the folder from her.

Alyssa felt offended to be called a mad scientist. She never invented anything strange that will harm the society and she never had any intention of harming society. But for the sake of keeping her secret safe, she let it go. It was better that she had successfully diverted his attention.

”Right. Where were we?” she asked opening the folder.

She spread the pictures of the victims on the table and said, ”Do you find something strange in them?” she asked.

Both Noah and Jake looked closely at the picture.

”Yes, the killer drank their blood from their necks, or to be more specific from the carotid artery. This is surely the work of a vampire as it is reported in the news.” Noah gave his analysis.

”Hmm. And you Jake, any observations?” she asked Jake.

Jake took one of the pictures and brought them close to his eyes. he looked seriously at them and said, ”Something is strange with the puncture wounds. A vampire never creates a puncture wounds like that.” He said

”Good! So, you are indeed smart.” Alyssa said patting Jake's shoulder.

”Look at the pictures closely. There are more than two puncture wounds from both sides of the neck. as we know only the canines of vampires elongate to tear the flesh and make the puncture. But here you can see that there are several puncture wounds. Looking at all the pictures it can be concluded that the criminal has six sharp teeth at the upper side and six sharp teeth at the lower side which is impossible in a vampire.” Alyssa gave her analysis.

”So, who do you think it is?” Jake asked in all seriousness. Because of this news that a vampire is on a killing spree in some other kingdom, both of the kingdom, Westeros and Coral Bells were on the verge of attacking each other. To stall the war, he had left Westeros to find the vampire and bring him back to justice. Preparation of war in his kingdom had already begun at that time. They were just waiting for Jake's news to attack Coral Bells for self-defense.

The same thing is happening in Coral Bells too. Protest against the king and 'hashtag' attacking the Westeros is trending in social media. Easteros is not left out too. they had begun to prepare for the war too. it was like back in the ancient days where each and every kingdom was against each other. It was not a war between the two kingdoms but here the whole continent was involved.

”I am not sure about it. But I think it is not a vampire.” Alyssa said.

”So, this means your kingdom is creating false news just to attack my kingdom.” Jake roared in rage ”This is just disgusting.” He continued.

For the first time, Alyssa felt embarrassed. She felt ashamed at the thoughts of the higher officials of her country who just for their own benefit can put the whole kingdom at stake. She felt ashamed of the weak mentality of the civilians too. just because somebody had done something to instigate them, they are now pleading for a war on another kingdom without thinking about the repercussion that it will bring in their own life. Usually, there is one loud voice in the mob, and the rest of them follow the voice like a sheep without even thinking where the voice is leading them to.

”Calm down Jake. Even we don't know what it is okay. Lets us first go there and find out.” Alyssa calmed Jake. She was not so sure about the situation and her findings. She will only believe in the situation after she will look into the matter with her own eyes.

”Noah bring species detector with us. We might need it there.
