Alyssa felt a weird sensation running through her body. Her vision blurred and her breathing became labored. Suddenly she felt hot. Her forehead and her palms became sweaty and she felt a strange feeling in her lower stomach. She felt her body burning and all she could think was to press herself on a cool source. She felt like taking off her clothes to lower her body temperature. She soon realized what was happening to her. she was drugged. It was a kind of drug that sends a werewolf in heat. She bit her tongue hard to clear her vision and her mind. As the time went, she became more helpless. She didn't know what to do. Even the pains that she was subjugating on her body were not enough for her to dampen the effect of the drug. Her vision fell on her ring finger on her left hand where she used to wear her personalized taser. She twisted the orifice of the taser towards herself and after adjusting the voltage she gave herself a shock. She felt a burning sensation in her whole body but eventually, her vision cleared and she regained her consciousness.

Reinhard was late. He was busy sorting problems related to his country. As soon as he entered the temple he was hit by Alyssa's unique scent. He took a deep breath but soon realized that the scent was not as pure as it was. Something was mixed with it. just like when Alyssa was drinking alcohol the other day. He frowned his brows and entered further. He realized that all the men present were fidgeting. Their eyes had turned dark and their body was giving away pheromones. Reinhard's eyes turned darker and it seemed that something clicked his mind. he raised his eyes towards Alyssa's direction and saw her fidgeting. He zoomed his eyes on her body and could clearly see her clothes getting dampen due to sweating.

'Her scent is making them wild in lust' he thought to himself. He knew he had to protect her from these men. It was only a matter of time before they lose their control over their mind and act on their primal instincts.

It was getting difficult for Reinhard too. He was an Alpha with awakened bloodline which means he can transform into his wolf form. His instinct was more primal than the men present around him.

'Calm your wolf down' Reinhard berated himself when he sensed his wolf howling at the back of his mind.
