17 Restless pain (1/2)

Riyku would steadily rise up after setting Seraphina down lightly upon the ground. His red glowing beads shifting around at everything. Though they were not filled with rage, no they were filled with pain, unlimited pain. ”Riyku!” Kristen called out as she raced towards him, but she was stopped in place. Riyku had appeared before her in the blink of an eye, his hand firmly grasped around her neck as he rose her off the ground. Slowly the darkness from his hand would begin to infect her flesh as she placed her hands in his wrist. ”Kristen!” Vex shouted as she raced towards them.

”Damn it. I knew something was up the moment he released that damn spell. He is no ordinary man. He isn't even a demon. No, he is something far more vicious than that, but what triggered it?” The headmistress would glance over to Seraphina. It was then she realized what happened, ”If we hadn't interfered... would everything have been okay? Damn it. I don't know.” She muttered to herself. ”Everyone, prepare the barrier. We need to keep casualties to a minimum.” The headmistress ordered to which everyone would sound off before heading into specific areas around the track and began to chant on sync. Meanwhile, she would approach Riyku and the others who happened to have been trying to get Riyku to release Kristen. ”Let her go, please Riyku!” Lira shouted out with determination. ”This isn't who you are!” Mina added. ”It's okay... Riyku... It's going to be okay...” Kristen would choke out as she reached out for him with a warm smile. ”Everything is okay...” She added as the smile brightened and tears slowly began to ride down her cheeks. Steadily it would seem Riyku would loosen his grasp and eventually her feet touched the ground. She would approach him and embrace him tightly.

”Back away!” The Headmistress called out to which Kristen shook her head. ”No. He isn't vile. He isn't evil. He is in pain! He is suffering!” Kristen called from the male's chest. As for the group, they all seemed to eventually pitch in and embrace him with Kristen. ”You have not lost anything,” Skylar stated softly. ”We are right here,” Mina added. ”We are safe.” Vex seemed to tune in. ”We will always be beside you,” Lira added. ”No one can separate us from you, Riyku. We are your friends after all. Even if the world decides to reject you. Even if you go to war with the world... We will stand beside you.” Kristen added. ”Now and forever!” They all exclaimed in sync, the warmth of their voice causing the man to react. Seraphina would open her eyes only to make note of what was going on, a brief smile curved across her lips as her body turned into a dark mist and moved to swirl around the group before seeping into Riyku's being. Steadily the eerie chill in the atmosphere died down and the pitch black of the flesh would begin to erode and shed off of him as it turned into black atomic dust and wisped away into the atmosphere. This left the male to glance over them with light tears running down his cheeks. The headmistress was now baffled by what had happened, but as she came to her senses she began to realize one thing. One key factor in everything that had just happened. ”If anything happens to those five...” She closed her eyes and crossed her arms under her chest. ”then.. the entire world may come to an end...” She finished as she exhaled a deep breath that she had whelmed up in her chest. It was of relief; since she doubted she could truly do anything against him.

She could feel the immense amount of strength that leaked from the male. This wasn't some Arch-Demon or Arch-Angel, it was the strength that far surpassed that; it rivaled that of a Demon Lord... no, it could have been even stronger. Just realizing how these five stopped him without so much as lifting a single weapon was an astonishing feat to her. ”You six, see me in my office. We need to clear up this mess.” The headmistress called out to them, then placed a few fingers to her ear. ”To everyone on preparing the barrier. There is no longer a need, you may all go on standby for now. As you may be aware the threat has been suppressed.” It was then that she got several voices edging at her which caused her to rub the bridge of her nose before seeming to silence the voices as if she had disconnected some kind of ear-piece.

”Don't ever do that again!” Kristen would punch the man lightly before embracing him again. ”She's right. Don't ever believe you are alone, that you have lost everything. We may not know of anything of your past lives, but this is the present. This is a new life and a new you.” Mina stated softly as her and the rest excluding Kristen had stepped back to give Riyku some space. Wiping his face of the residue from the tears he would release a heavy breath. ”I...” He looked sad for a moment. ”Thank you.” He would smile softly as he nodded lightly. ”Hey! Where did that Seraphina girl go?” Lira inquired to which everyone looked to see she had vanished. ”Don't worry... She is here.” Riyku stated as she pointed to himself. ”She is a part of me after all. You could say... she is my darkness.” Riyku smiled warmly, for something that sounded so... terrifying he made it seem like something full of warmth. Everyone would take note before sighing lightly. ”Alright, that's enough. Follow me.” The headmistress would come up behind them. ”We need to discuss what just happened and sort several things out.” She added with a stern look to which everyone seemed to look at her and nod lightly.

Meanwhile in the Lower District inside a random building happened to be a cloaked figure and two others having a discussion.

”So you failed?” The cloaked figure held a female's voice which was full of disappointment. ”What do you mean failed? You never told us anything about that!?” The man would shout out loud as he stepped forward, but his companion so to speak would put his arm out to stop him. ”Thank you for your report, I'll hand the rest. Return to your post.” The man stated firmly, full of dignity and respect. ”Yes, sir!” The other man stated as he left the small shack. ”You failed to tell us of anything like that. That immense amount of energy is nothing something my men can stand against. Not even I alone could fight against him without preparing to lose a limb or two. Do you even understand what it is that you trying to anger?” The man inquired to which the cloaked woman growled. ”Of course I do!” The woman shouted. ”Is that so? Then I shall call our arrangement off. My best sniper and a best friend might I add, was killed by whatever that thing was. He is one of the best when it comes to hiding, but he was found out in an instant and killed without so much as a brief moment to despair.” The man stated as he turned away from the woman. ”Don't you dare! I will have your head if you walk out on me now!” The woman called out. ”Have my head? Ha, like a little bitch like you could do anything. You started out as nothing more than a cum-rag for the alleys until I took you in. Do you think, you can stand against me? You should know how foolish that would be, but I guess the life above has gone to your head. You think you can do anything just because some rich family bought you off me for their own personal gain. Pathetic...” The man would exit the building which left the woman standing alone.

”Scerw all of you. I'll be sure to make you all pay. Every last one of you!” The woman growled beneath her scowl before seeming to pull up her wristband to contact someone. ”Contact the Twins...” She stated under her breath before closing out the audio feed after speaking her peace. ”Just you wait, Riyku... You will pay for you did to me that day. You and everyone else...” A burst of twisted laughter would spark up from the woman as if she had insane.

Back to Riyku and his group, they were seated at a conference table with the headmistress on one end and Riyku on the other. One one side was the Lira, Vex, Kristen, Skylar, and Mina. Kristen was seated the closest to Riyku while it seemed Skylar was furthest with the others in-between. On the other side happened to the faculty staff which included Riyku's homeroom teacher, standing beside the headmistress was Myu which seemed to have daggers glared at her from Riyku's friends.

”Alright, now that we are all here. I must address something. Riyku Von Rosario is not human. Of course, by now that should not be a surprise. As such... We will keep this information on lockdown.” These set of words caused many people to looked surprised. ”I beg your pardon!?” One of the staff slammed on the table. ”He is clearly a demon! What do you mean we should hide his identity!? Are you even sane!?” That staff member stated firmly. Several other staff members agreed some remained silent. It was Riyku's friends who seemed to disagree. ”Demon!? So while everyone poked and prodded him yet he remained far from lethal, while his friend was nearly raped and another killed, and while he protected them from such. You would guys wanna call him a Demon? Even though there are far more inhumane people in this school!?” Kristen rose up with anger in her voice. ”That is different!” One of the staff members retorted. ”Different? Oh, it's okay for someone to be raped and murdered, but not for someone who we don't even know is a demon to be labeled as one!? What kind of bullshit--” Kristen was silenced when the headmistress slammed her hand on the table to call order.

”While Kristen does make a good point, we should also ask the man himself. Will you indulge us?” The headmistress looked as if she was demanding and not asking. Everyone turned their attention to Riyku who just sighed heavily. ”For anything, I am about to tell you to make sense. I need to start from the beginning. Would be fine with you all?” Riyku inquired as he folded his arms across his chest. ”Of course.” The headmistress seemed to have spoken for everyone to which Riyku nodded.

”I am not from here. I was not born here. In fact, I was reincarnated from another place, or more so I should say life. For what reason or purpose? That is beyond me. You see when I was reincarnated; My body was built from the ground up. While I do host the leveling system you all have, mine is far more advanced. I can level up from a multitude of things. I was even given a 'system' to which I know nothing of, to be honest. However, what I do know is that this system is what brought me back to life, it is what aids me in leveling and it even allows me to do things like this...” The male would flick his wrist which caused a cybernetic screen to appear before everyone. ”Enlarge.” The male commanded as the screen became large for all to see; of course, everyone was awestruck by what just happened to behind with.
