55 Chapter 54: Li Xiaoyu IV (1/2)
But after a couple of minutes, my brother came out of the Stairwell.
I naturally threw a small tantrum at him for suddenly disappearing and scolded him.
But soon after that I left with my brother and some of his men and headed towards the bridge.
My brother decided to block off the bridge and used some trucks of his to do it. I didn't understand why he would do that when they are perfectly good trucks.
It took a couple of hours to clear the bridge of zombies and cars and after we finished that my brother brought me to the subway. A place which I soon regret following him too.
Apparently my brother was looking for a dungeon.
It is apparent that my brother knows a dungeon is hiding inside this dungeon but just doesn't know where. So we're now going on a goose chase after a dungeon which my brother only knows is within the NYC subway station. I thought my brother was nuts for this as the subway station is huge.
For the first hour of my time inside of the dungeon, my brother was pushing me to the limits so much that I thought I was going to die. He was literally treating me like a machine and making me constantly mow down the Zombies.
I was taught how to use the Glock 17 which he handed me and was practicing my training my accuracy on the heads of the Zombies within the subway.
We meet a group of agitated Human survivors inside of a Newsstand after the first hour of searching and my brother made me practice killing a living person with one of the guys in that group.
I now know that my brother is officially crazy. I mean he was before but now he really is nuts.
I puked my lunch out after I killed the guy. My first experience of killing a living human is definitely not a good one.
We soon, however, bid farewell with that group of survivors and were on our way. I didn't talk nor say a single word with him.
My next 2 hours where hell for my brother made me add points into agility and vitality and had me killing non stop with no rest. Although whenever I added points into my vitality stat my fatigue seemed to lessen, the feeling started to disappear after I did it about 30 times. My stats got boosted and all but the world soon turned blurry and I lost consciousness.
When I awoke I was lying on a jacket with my face against a wall. The jacket was my brothers and acted as a mat of a sort that protected me from the cold hard floor.
When I awoke I was dead tired. Even though I rested for a while my body feels sore all over.
After I got up I continued following my brother down the practically endless subway station looking for his so described dungeon.
I was starting to think that my brother might be pulling my leg after a while. For this isn't the first time my brother did such a thing. Only the other times he didn't go so far.
But that thought was quickly thrown to the back of my mind when we found a tunnel which wasn't on the map sticking out of the subway station.
We finally found it, is the first thing that came to mind when I saw that entrance which was sticking out of the tunnel wall. I mean there aren't any tracks leading into the hole, and the size of the hole is only enough to fit 3 people to go through at once and even then it is a tight squeeze.
The moment I step foot into the entrance of the dungeon a notification sounds.
[You have found a dungeon!]
[You have entered The Invisible Tunnels.]
[Congratulations on being the first to find a dungeon you earn 10,000 Evolution points!]
I suddenly got a whole bunch of Evolution points added into my Stats menu.
”Did you get the reward?”

”Hmpf!”
I got too lazy to answer him and instead ignored him.
As we walked further down the dungeon we met something much scarier than the Zombies. A team of rats that my brother easily dispatched of.
HOLYSHIT HOLYSHIT!!!
RATS!!!
I hate rats. Rats are one of the few things in life which I am just afraid of. They are rodents that spread diseases and are incredibly hard to capture and get rid of. Worst of all these rats are much larger in size than your regular rats.
I quickly took out my gun and started firing. Firing the gun, however, didn't keep the rats away and instead enraged them. The rats came charging at us.
My heart was pounding and it was beating nonstop. The rats were getting closer and closer and my bullets weren't doing much damage.
Thankfully my brother took care of the rats.
I was then given the last kill further increasing my stats.
