43 Chapter 43: Dungeon (1/2)
”Where are we going?”
”... we're going fishing.”
”Fishing? Where?”
”In the subway station.”
”...”
”We are going to be fishing for a Dungeon Core.”
”Dungeon Core?”
”It's a shiny rock that feels warm when you touch it.”
”Whats a dungeon?”
”That's...”
”...”
”I don't know...”
”...”
”Every Dungeon is different. But they are similar in the aspect that they are an interdimensional space that summons creatures and resources into our world.”
”... Forget I said anything.”
We quickly reach the Subway station which is leading downwards into the ground. Along the wall, there is a lot of graffiti on the walls leading downwards.
The entrance of the Subway station has yet to turn into a Dungeon.
That means the dungeon has yet to take over the subway station. At least not yet.
All dungeons require time to take over a certain area. New dungeons are made after a dungeon core is Planted and after some time the core will grow and take over an inter-dimensional space which becomes the dungeon.
If I can find the Dungeon core now before it has fully grown then I would be able to form a contract with it becoming a Dungeon Master!
A dungeon master is just like what it means, a master of the Dungeon. There are extremely good perks which the dungeon master will get when he becomes the master of the dungeon and they are being able to teleport within the dungeon and capable of controlling the monsters which respawn, as well as where and what the traps are to be put.
Getting my hands on this dungeon gives me a mine with infinite resources.
I can build the dungeon however I see fit and make it an underground base for me.
There were dungeon masters in my previous life which became quite powerful because of being almost invincible and having an almost infinite amount of resources.
They probably survived even after I died in that battle against the God of Plague.
The reason why they are so powerful is that as long as they are within there Dungeon they can teleport to anywhere within the Dungeon. This means if the Dungeon Core isn't destroyed then they wouldn't be able to be killed.
Having a dungeon under there control also has the perk of being able to mine resources from the dungeon which is unending as long as there are enough sacrifices to the Dungeon.
The Dungeon is a living structure which will consume anything. They will then convert what they consume into some sort of power and then use it to sustain the Dungeon. Meaning as long as it consumes something the resources of the Dungeon will continue to replenish.
