”Yes sir!”

”Today marks the end of your first year of coming here. To commemorate this event, you will be sent to the wilderness for an ȧssessment. Got that!?”

”Yes, sir!”

”There are a total of 10 courses, crossing through the wilderness. And there will be a total of 20 teams! Each team will be required to pair up with another, and together, they will on a parallel path, only to meet at the designated location. You are to make a round trip and record the progress of your journey. Once you reach the designated location, trade your notes of the surrounding with the other team, and you will go back, using the route that the other team took. Is that clear!?”

”YES, SIR!”

Urghh... Why do I have to go on this trip with these guys?

Behind me, were 2 of the people who I detested the most.

First, Eren. He is the type guy that will do anything he set his eyes on. Though that is a good trait, he can be a bit stubborn and annoying sometimes. He often pisses me off with his 'I wanna join the Survey Corps' speech. It's so goddamn annoying that he will never shut up about it. Spare me those shits. I'd rather live off my life well off in the interior rather becoming cannon fodders for some beings humanity can't even defeat.

As for the second person I hated... Athanatos.

He's the most mysterious guy in the whole goddamn Cadet. Rumors about him can even be heard hundreds of miles away. Some even say he eat human meat for dinner!

But one thing is for sure... you never want to mess with him.

I learned that the hard way.

One week after we joined the cadet, I summoned up my courage to talk to this one girl.

I already knew her name was Mikasa, but out of courtesy, I politely asked for her name.

”Mikasa.”

She didn't even ask for mine... (´;︵;`)

”So... Mikasa. How're you enjoying the Cadet Corps so far. Do you have any story to share?”

”...Yeah.”

She said that with an uninterested expression... but you can see a slight happy expression on her face.

”Wanna tell me about it?”

She is truly a wonderful girl. Her beauty captivates me the very moment I laid my eyes on her. How can such an angel-like being like her can even exist?

”I confessed to someone... And he agreed.” After she said that, her face bloomed with a sweet smile.

I knew this guy. He has been the talk of the whole 104th Cadet Corps, mostly famous for having more than one girlfriends—2 confirmed and 1 unconfirmed.

Is this Mikasa's boyfriend?

How? How can such a beautiful girl like her, possibly like this guy?

He's a goddamn playboy!

Though his look is quite decent—really handsome, actually—he already has 2 other girls!!!

”Wut?” He replied to me with a hint of intrigue on his face.
