He said that he liked it when she called him ‘Mubai’. He said that when she said those two words, it sounded especially pleasant to hear.

However, she lost the right to call him that later. She could only continue to call him ‘Big Brother’.

Sitting in the taxi, Su Jin propped her head up with her hand and sighed faintly. Her chest felt as if it was being pressed down by a large rock that weighed a thousand catties. It was so heavy that she could hardly breathe, and her face was still filled with sorrow.

Soon, the taxi stopped at the entrance of the Civil Affairs Bureau. Su Jin paid and got out of the car. She shook off the gloominess on her face to make herself appear calm. Inwardly, she wasn’t sure if that man would come as promised.

She actually hoped that he would stand her up.

This would then give her an excuse to back out.

“Over here!”

She had just stepped through the door when that man’s pleasant voice rang out.

Jin Hengyuan was still dressed in the same clothes he had worn in the morning. When he saw her, he stood up. His tall and handsome figure was exceptionally eye-catching in the quiet resting area.

Many people looked over.

“Sorry, I’m late!”

She went forward to greet him, feeling a little awkward inside.

Sigh, this would be her husband from now on.

Sadly, they were both so unfamiliar with each other.

“I was the one who came early!”

A dried leaf was stuck in her hair. He reached out and plucked it gently with a warm gaze.

“Thank you!”

“You’re welcome!” He paused and looked at her seriously. “Are you sure?”
