”If Buddha cultivation is to go left, you shouldn't let a person who goes right affect your faith. It will make you confused and even deviate from the direction you choose.”
”Here, I don't say that other religions are inferior to Buddhism, just that they are different in essence, and ordinary people can't follow two different dharmas at the same time.”
”Some people will say that their Taoism draws on the strengths of others and is a comprehensive religion. This may be a good attempt, but it will not be effective. I think it is best to maintain the diversity of the world.”
”Just like Sichuan cuisine, Huaiyang cuisine, Guangdong cuisine, Shandong cuisine and so on, people can choose what to eat, but if they are mixed together, it must be a dish without characteristics and delicious.”
”If you have a headache, take medicine for it. That doesn't mean you have to condemn or disrespect other drugs, or sell headache medicine to people with stomachache.”

”In my opinion, every teaching method and practice path is unique and complete. When your insight does not reach a certain height, don't be greedy and can't chew.”
”As for the Dharma tips, they can be compatible. For example, a Buddhist monk can practice sound and news outside, Mahayana inside and Vajra in secret at the same time.”
Lin Xianjing then asked, ”there are 84000 dharmas in Buddhism. How should believers choose what is suitable for themselves?”
Master Shu replied, ”in Buddhism, living Buddhas, gurus and teachers are doctors, believers are patients, and Buddhism is medicine.”
”Buddha Dharma is like those different kinds of medicinal materials and treatments, each of which works for different people and under different circumstances. In fact, 84000 dharmas are just a symbolic imaginary number expression, and there are many more dharmas than this.”
”The Buddha teaches us different contents. One method does not have to be superior to other methods. Sometimes, in order to encourage disciples and prevent them from being distracted, they tend to say that a specific method is the most suitable and best, but it is only a way of training and should not be understood as one better than another.”
”Each method has a specific audience and needs to be taught according to the timing and everyone's qualifications. It should not be rigidly adhered to.”
”For example, the Buddha taught traveling monks to accept whatever others provide when begging for alms. In this case, you may see that monks accept meat. This is not permission to eat meat. The point is that they should not choose when making alms.”
”The greatness of the Buddha is that he will not teach and standardize only for a certain type of people, and the Dharma will not become narrow and limited due to different cultures, the passage of time and changes in the environment.
”There are eighty-four thousand dharmas, from which you can choose the one that corresponds to your feeling. How to find the one that suits you? My suggestion is to explore.”
”The search process is also a mature process. As long as you persevere, you will have beautiful and rich returns. As long as you are diligent, full of desire, maintain an open mind and critical thinking, you will meet your Dharma.”
”Good or bad, fast or slow is secondary.”
”All living beings have different qualifications, abilities and cognition. The drugs are the same and the doses can be different. The speed is also relative.”
