'No... no... I can't be such a coward... I had promised myself that I will make up to every mistake I have done and I haven't even done one of them...' Mike thought

In an instant, the sharp wind from a knife blew over his head... Mike lifted his head only to see Matt kicking off the zombie's chest, the massive impact made it chest cave backward as its body was lifted from the ground flying back half a meter away from them. His kick was fast and precise like a machine.

Mike's eyes widened in surprise, and he stared incredulously at a fierce Matt. The only thought that came to his mind was 'Damn... Matt must have been training for the last month to reach this level'

Matt hollered in a low voice, ”What are you waiting for? Chop it's head off!”

”Oh, right!” only then did Mike regained his mind. He hastily stood up, then ran out towards the zombie in front of him and used his newfound strength to yank the fire axe. Then in a single swift swing removed the head of the zombie from its body.

'The zombie is dead' thought Mike as he sat on the ground and started panting heavily. He finally felt calm after escaping near death.

”Do you know what mistakes you committed right now?” asked Matt

”Yeah! I lost my strength when I couldn't take out the fire axe from the zombie's head and was completely at his mercy” Mike stated.

”That's just one of the many mistakes Mike,” Matt said, ”Firstly you attacked the zombie when he was too close to you and that too on his head. I think after splitting open the heads of 30 or so zombies you should know how much strength is needed to actually accomplish that. You should have copied Ethan and dodged the zombie's pounce then attack him from the back so that even if you don't kill him in the first swing he won't be able to attack you right after that. another thing to note is that you shouted! Why in the hell do you think it's right to shout when you swing your fire axe? If there were any zombies close by then they would be attracted by your shout but since there weren't any I won't be talking about that but what if the blood of the zombie entered your mouth while you were shouting, think what could have happened?”

Ethan who was standing by Matt also became stunned as he had also forgotten the fact that this virus could easily be spread by a bite so spreading it by blood will most likely be true as well.

”I-I never thought about it!” Mike stated.

”I know that's why I am telling you to don't act rashly, currently the three of us are the only ones who are fighting with the zombies and we have to make sure that we stay safe so that others can stay safe,” Matt said while looking at the two who nodded there head with complete seriousness.
